Hello from Greece. I have flashed this Rom in my T428 for a while. Some days now , for some reason, the root is not working. What could be the reason or the way to fix it ? Thanks !

My wifi and bluetooth doesn't even turn on after flashing this rom, does anyone know what the reason could be ?

dear finless the physical keyboard have to close every time I start the device, the keyboard will not come if their peers and like I said before, I can not klısıp sound, I respect been waiting impatiently for updates

Looking for a solution enable screen keyboard too. Anything?

one thing though, i watched a movie with fx player and ones in awhile like every 15 minues or so there was something like a volume icon with a number in the middle of the screen ,just for a split second each time....

was that the rom or the player????

This happens to me as well so it is not just you. I just ignore it. Half the time I'm on one of my tablets or phones while a movie is playing anyways.

FYI the volume problem is a known KK issue. Darrell thinks it is the kernel but I am going to see if it a settings problem writing to sys areas.

Hi Bob!

Sorry for being impatient but will this ROM ever get any updates in the future? The audio quality is really poor at full volume (probably it's just my TV) while this ROM only supports full volume and mute. I can't use it for movies anymore. Really like KK and don't want to go back to JB. Could you please let me know if you are still working on it or not?

Kernel update

Hi Guys, I've been testing this ROM with my Measy U4B over last few weeks, I've loaded kernel attached to the package, there are occasional problems with playback sluttering. Are those attached kernels already patched with vsyncfixomatic?
I would like to replace initial kernel (ver.1.02) with newer one found in d33 thread - hoping this will solve my playback problem. The question is which version should I choose 2.x, 3.x or 4.x to be compatible with this ROM? Thanks & Regards

HOWEVER, The Kernel does not have AP6330 Wireless chipset support. Everything else is SMOOTH as cream. XBMC in package and runs 1080p very nice. Comes with overclock app. GPU SUPPORT GL2.0

Does anyone know how to add AP6330 Wireless chipset support to this Kernel?

Sure would like to see the few issues it does have fixed. This thing makes my T428 run better than my UT2 with a wasser ROM. Hey, a good UT2 ROM would be cool too!

You flash the image using the batch tool 1.7

However, Wifi/Bluetooth not working.

This Rom has XBMC built in and runs at 1.6Ghz with overclock app. Runs VERY smooth with GL 2.0 support.

To get CWM ClockWorkMod working,
using RKDevelopment 1.73 tool you can see the partitions sectioned out.

Ok, got CWM installed on this Rom.

Used RKADevelop tool 1.37 and Generic CWM from;
Unzip- just check and flash the recover.img part.

Use Generic CWM for RK3188

Been a while since I played with my t428 since it bricked, but the link in your comment is for Linux, not android. you should be able to flash one of the KitKat kernels found in this thread when flashing or after flashing to get back wifi/BT.

I tried two of the latest Kernels I have (Fineless 2.0 and the one from your suggestion)
The WiFi & BT work again, but performance went down the drain. 1080p movies are choppy. I don't think the GPU hardware is supported in those rom builds. Don't know if there is a newer one yet.

Funny, the newer Rom from a different device is very nice and smooth but no WiFi / BT support
The newest T428 rom (That I know of) has Wifi / BT but no GPU support.

Wish there was a way to add support for WiFi/BT into the above rom (Kernel) in header.

I have the t428 for a year. Till 3 days ago I didnt change anything.
as I saw tbat I dont have memory for application I flashed it and put rom2.
I had a problem in tbe installation with win 8.1 that didnt recognize the t428 so I worked with a laptop win 7.0 that worked fine.
every thing seemd fine so afterwords
after installation I installed xbox netflix and hola
Than the reeboot didnt work and the internet explorer didnt work and the main Scean was flashing and changing colors and didnt respond most of the time.
So in setting I put it back to factory setting.
It stopped flshing only after I put go launcher.
The reboot still didnt work as it sais "you dont have root access" and the explorer didnt wok so I uploaded chrom.
It was ok till I uploaded xbmc with adon from fusion.
It started flashing.
I closed the system and the next morning i opened it. It steel flashed.
After 2 more boots it stopped flashing if I dont use xmbc.
What can I do to improuve this sad situation.?
