Issue with VPN: custom kernels I built have TUN built in but the stock ones didn't.

Issue with ASIX88179: this is a USB3 chipset device. Stock kernels support ASIX88178/88772 only (USB2). Only my custom kernels support ASIX88179
Measy U4B (=Tronsmart T428) used by my kids!

Since this is no beta ROM, can I also use your latest 4.0 Kernel for TV-Sticks?

When you open that you'll see the tick box for it.
I didnt have to turn mine on. Since it is always plugged in it booted with it in and shut my Wifi off and defaulted to the usb lan conection. Maybe its the conecter im using.... but it is working great.

Thanks Bob. You hit a homerun on this one.

Just cant say enough about this one as to how much I like it. Everything worked right the first time right out of the shute. I have had it on non stop now for about 8 hours now just getting all my apps back and setting it up the way I like it and have had no FCs or reboots that I didnt initiate. Will let you know if I find anything not working but so far I'm loving this rom.
One question though, since it has TWRP installed, will we be able to flash diferent kernels with it and will any updates be flashed this way as well?
                        Thanks again...

                          I have the same problem:

                          How to resolve it ?

                            found one issue

The one thing that I found that wasn't working for me was the TWRP recovery that was added. It did a backup just fine but when I went to restore, it stopped at recovering data, not able to read to _exSD or something to that effect. I did however, install the Arc tools apk from another post in freektab which allowed me to install a working version of CWM recovery and it is functioning just fine. So now your rom is perfect in my opinion. If I could have got TWRP to work for me I would have kept it as that is my preferred custom recovery and run it on all the Android devices that I own, and thats a lot. My wife hates it, as she thinks I could be spending my money on something "useful" lol..

                                Ark tools link

http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/...ware-20130613/ this is the link to the software you will need to download. just hit the link at the top for the CWM easy recovery instal and it will guide you through it. If you still have any issues I can try to find the apk link itself. you just instal the APK filewhich is Arctools, It is an application like rom manager or Goo manager in that it will download and instal the recovery for you, Here is the link that will take you to the Arc tools download page, just go to this thread and in the side bar you will see the download link to the Arc tool, hit it and it will start the download automatically. http://www.arctablet.com/blog/downlo....arctools.apk/ I hope this helps, give me a yell if you need anything else.
