Hi d33, i tried your 4.2.5 kernel (with RTL8723BS support) on my stick (RK3188T), however it does not boot. I also tried to recompile the kernel using your source to change some configuration but still it does not boot. Do you have any idea? My stock kernel unfortunately does not go to full HD. Furthermore i need recompile the kernel to add support for Hanns g 321 Touchscreen support. Any help/hint would be much appreciated! I attached the dmesg from my stock kernel.
      Thanks a lot in advance

Turn off the RK3188T overrides , your SoC is too unstable to go to 1.6

Thanks.. D33.. Your Kernel Solve my Problems

I`ve tried a lots of solutions for my MK 809 III + AP6210 WIFI.

Using a 4.2.x version AP6210-Alt - under test - please report results and Neomode Custom Rom MK809III Version 3.1 Android 4.4.2 *Update*, my wi-fi and bluetooth works fine...

I tested a HD and SD version both works for me.

          But HD get little laggy...

          ....

Now I`m using Neo Mode + AP6210 Alt - SD + Parameter 4GB... Works Really smooth.....

          Thanks

Hi D33, thanks a lot for your time having a look. I rebuilt again disabling all the 3 overrides (CONFIG_RK3188T_CPU_OVERRIDE, CONFIG_RK3188T_GPU_OVERRIDE, CONFIG_RK3188T_DDR_OVERRIDE = n) and flashed the kernel.img. But nothing happens, not a sign of any HDMI signal. Is this board so picky? So far, I found only 2-3 kernels that would boot (of some gxt_d16_lp board). Any other idea? Thanks again.

              Hi d33,

Is there any chance you could post some .config's for RK3188 sticks?
              Specifically, I'm interested in CX-919 (AP6210, HD).
Could you post the .config you used for the AP6210 kernels you've published?

              Thanks!

Nope - sorry. Good luck figuring it out.

                    Thanks for the reply.

I now did that (got it from /proc/config.gz), but my kernel still does not boot, while yours runs fine.
I even reverted to 4.2.5 commit and tried different toolchains.
I do "make ... kernel.img" and flash that img file using RKAndroidTool.
Is that wrong? Should I use "rkcrc" on the Image instead?
                    Any other ideas?

                    * (I've built kernels in the past for RK3066 devices with no issues.)

                    Thanks again.

Thanks, but that's not needed. Didn't work.

But, I somehow built a working one (changed toolchain and used "rkcrc -k" on the "Image" instead of using the "kernel.img" file).
                        Appreciate your help!

                          Hello d33

                          I have one question..

My Android box is compatible with some boards and have the Same wifi/bt chipset....

                          K-RK3188-V4.2
                          K-RK3188-V3.5
                          And the B351 V2.0

                          The Wifi/BT Chipset is a RT8723AS

                          PROBLEM SOLVED:

                            Hi d33,

First of all, thank you for your kernels, I use one of them on my mk908ii and am very pleased with the performance.
My question is though regarding another device namely T-R42 with RK3188T CPU and RT8723AS WiFi/BT module.
I couldn't find a kernel from your collection that will work with my device.
Could you please compile a kernel for this device using the latest sources including all your improvements/enhancements ?
                            Thank you!

Just to be clear, the source code & configuration is now open source and available to anyone to compile. I'm afraid I no longer have the time for this hobby and so any further changes will need to be completed by another active developer on Freaktab.
