It does not show up in the display settings. I see @60 and @50 only as options. Do I have to do anything for it to show up?

Hi, I tried the rtl8723bs on a 809III but the BT does not work. Looking at the thread http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...fi-amp-bt-chip it looks like the GPIOs for BT are wrong.

Is it possible to fix this?

        Thanks

d33, are the kernel_KK_v4.2.5_TVSTICK_AP6210-Alt... kernels meant for testing on the mk908v3 (or even all versions of the mk908) tv sticks?
If so, i would gotesting it this coming week in my spare time. Thing is i didnt find any more info on the mk908 after the screenshot with scrambeled output, i dont remember who posted it...

                    Hey guys,

I've just installed kernel_KK_v4.2.5_TVSTICK_AP6210_HD and kernel_KK_v4.2.5_TVSTICK_AP6210_SD on my Tronsmart MK908II (rk3188-T, ap6210) using RKDevelopTool 1.37, the thing is that despite of the flash seems to be OK, I don't see any difference, cpu still runs at 1.4ghz instead of 1.6ghz with the SD, same for the HD (still 1,4ghz and 720p).

The device is recognized by the tool, the messages are all fine, the file is written into devices memory.

                    am I missing anything??

                    EDIT: copy from another thread:

using D33 kernel you should be at 1.6ghz, if the rom your using has a kernel embedded in boot the stick will use that one regardless of what is flashed in kernel partition. Try veclinux rom with d33 v4 kernels
                    http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...VECLINUX/page6
use the link in post 112
Is this what it's happening to me? the only solution is to reflash again the rom?

                      thanks.

As far as I know the latest kernel you flash wil be used. When flashing a new ROM with kernel included, your kernel will be flashed as well. If you want to use another kernel, you have to flash it seperately.

What app do you use to find out your CPU speed? I recommend CPUspy.

I use CPU-Z and also setCPU, the rom is the one from veclinux. What you say is what I thought, but read this thread:

it seems the guy who opened it is having the same issue as me.

I do not know of this issue. You could try the solution provided at post 122 of the ROM-thread. Problem is that the link is broken. Hope you can find another way to download it....

If you are unsure whether the Kernel is mine after flashing just check the kernel details in "about" tab of settings

                                should appear your nick?

IIRC this is the "stock" kernel, I mean, the one which came with the rom.
