        Still the same issue.

cs968 ap6210 +stock kitkat + your 4053 kernel boots complete to desktop and then after a few seconds or when I try to start any app, I got a loop with rebooting from bootanimation(system).

Or have I missed another ROM base, while I'm on vacation?

Hi d33 thanks for the latest v4.0 Kernels!

I would like to know the differences between the AP6210 SD and Alt-SD files... Does the Alt files are Different or Overclocked ?

I am using your v4.0 SD Kernel + Neomode's3.1 ROM in my CX-919 v2.0 (with FULL RK3188 not "T"), and all works flawlessly and Smooth...

Do you are going to make Overclocked 1.7-1.8 versions of your v4.0 Kernel that could safely be use in the CX-919 Sticks?

I have a Tronsmart MK902 that behaves the same. Bob, ray and I all unable to fix yet

I have exactly the same results. I tried Finless 2, Neomode 3.1, geek buying official. No ball. My stick is true ugoos 809iii with 3188 and 6210.

I've tried the v4 SD and HD kernels with Neomode 3.1 - using my MK809III (RK3188T).

The results have been fantastic with one exception - the audio compatibility has been somewhat poor. One of my screens - I can't get audio out via HDMI. Everything worked fine with Neomode 1.9A, included kernel.

I see all sorts of people reporting audio problems with Kit Kat, whether basic audio or passthrough. Is it due to the ROM - or the kernel? Any hope that this will improve in the future?

Audio support was fixed to two channel in the beta and now we see why.

In the current release the HDMI driver queries the tv device for its video/audio capabilities. Some simply don't get a reply and so provide no options

cs968 Not working - Kernal attached

                    So I have CS968 with k3188 (not t) and ap6210.
I installed the last 4.4.2 KKT rom and i work fine (720p).

                    However, the clock is 1.4Ghz...

I tried all the kernels here but it stuck on home screen with blackbackgroud and rboot after ~10seconds. not remote controll...

I dumped my kernel using rockchip tool v2.1 at address 0x40000 and I upload it here

                    Code:
                    http://speedy.sh/uqrmp/kernel.img
Please let me know how to modify it to work with 1.8Ghz.

Only drawback to the new sd kernels is there no No gpu and no gpu/ddr versions.

Frankly though D33 already done plenty and we can can change the hd icon size to 240 if we need it.

                        Hi,

I'm using the new V4 TV stick kernel, cpu patched to 1.8 Ghz, DDR and GPU @ D33 stock kernel settings (720 / 600) with Neomode's 3.1 rom on a CX919 (confirmed T soc) and it's working great.
It's fast and stable, thanks D33 for another great kernel.

                        Regards

Interesting. My screen must report back video capability, because I get video but no audio.

Is this considered a superior setup to what was available in previous kernels? Or is there hope for going back to the old HDMI drivers?

                            Must it?

Actually it doesn't. The screen driver defaults to a list of modes exposed in the source regardless of the lack of capability reported back via EDID. You may notice that both Wasser and I expose additional modes in our kernels than stock (eg. 1080p24 and 1080i50).

The point is the old drivers didn't test capability, they simply limited it to stereo PCM regardless of application. The new drivers are better in that they provide the correct options.

What I was considering was capturing the response STRUCT for a working 5.1 device and defaulting this for all. There are problems with this and I haven't had time to have a go yet.

Thank you sir. No reason to apologize even if there were a ton of corrections needed - your post was very informative. Though I don't use it - I've seen others complain that "passthrough" doesn't work - so I was unsure if corrections were still pending.

Great work on the kernel's regardless. For my lapdock - I'll continue using a stick with Neomode's 1.9A. For my TV, I'll use the RK3188T with your upgraded kernel and Neomode 3.1. I no longer feel the RK3188T is a big disadvantage. I bought a handful for my groomsmen gifts (getting married), and I'm very grateful that with your kernel 1080P streaming is not a problem.

Just in case - I'll test any future releases and report back on whether the audio issue changed. Thanks again.

                                Hi, d33

On my MK908II, my webcam logitech C270 is very dark using the V4 kernel. I tried quite a few ROMs with the kernel, and all give me the same dark scene from my camera.

The only ROM that gives me the proper camera light is Bob's 1.6 for MK908II using Bob's kernel, but that's 4.2. I really like 4.4 ROM. If you can fix the camera light problem, that will be great. Thanks.
