WiFi not loading in that one at all - what's different????

This one has BT too

Not sure what's different but I tried the NCR MTK 1 kernel on NCR 3.1 and it didn't work either. Perhaps Neo could answer that question better than I could. I know Wifi & BT work on NCR MTK 1 but 720p.

Here is DMESG on last kernel with BT (this time the ON/OFF slider on Wifi would not slide to ON, the checkmarks on each panel was clickable but would not stay checked when I switched to another setting then back to them (wifi & bt) the previous one the wifi ON/OFF slider did work and slide to ON position.)

I have Mediatek as well and I'm trying these on Neo Custom Rom ver 3.1 and wifi is not turning on. It turned on in a test ROM Neo did, the NCR MTK 1. I still haven't tried with Finless Bob's KK ROM, but you're welcome to try and help out Eventually I will also start testing on Finless Bob's KK ROM, I was trying to keep it simple and stick to 2 ROMs, but I have done TWRP Recovery backups I can switch between ROM's so I guess I can do the same and test with 3 different ROMs...

Finless KitKat 2.0 Beta didn't boot with these kernels.

EDIT: I guess I will keep testing with NCR roms. Should I stay with 1 ROM like NCR 3.1 which is a non-beta rom?

My GM 282 got permanently bricked, probably since the NAND chip went bad. I did play with a lot .

So I am a bit cautious now with this CS 968. I have tried different ROM's earlier but none did work as good as the stock ROM (in stability), so I now use Tech1 customized CS 968 ROM's, with D33 kernels.

I tried this: kernel_KK_v4.2.5_TVSTICK_MT5931_BT_HD_debug.img

WiFi/BT did not work. Also, the Antutu score was just about 17000.

Do you guys need the DMESG?

I have a feeling we hit a brick wall or something... Neo has a working wifi/bluetooth test rom search for NCR MTK .9 thread there is a version 1 that I use but it's 720p

What I did was set the display to 1920x1080 with density 270. NOTE: It does not come rooted so you need to root it, and since I was installing TWRP recovery I used SuperSU 2.10 zip file after I flashed it, I let it do it's thing with the stock recovery then I booted back into download mode and flashed misc and TWRP. Then I installed SuperSU 2.10


To change resolution to a more useable using the 720p do this in terminal:

su
wm display 1920x1080
wm density 270

Yes Stock and the test ones and I need to know the wifi / BT chip in your device.

Even better would be to create GPIO dumps - I've incorporated the kernel driver in 4.2.5 onward

When I say we hit a brick wall it means we slowed down and we have to take down the brick wall before we continue. We are still on, I never give up!!! :-)

When I try to run gpio I get:

gpio_init failed: No such file or directory.

I even tried to look for it...

busybox find / -name gpio_init

Not sure if it's because I have gpio for kernel 3.0.8+ can you provide me with the necessary files for 3.0.36+? Thanks!

Also I tried the gpio_dump_opt.sh and I get:
