You can remove them from system/app by cut/paste (not delete) to a folder on your SD card with a rooted file manager app like ES File Explorer or X-Plore. You just need to give the app superuser permissions in settings.

If you just delete a file in the system it causes problems. It leaves some hidden files behind. So don't do that.
Don't be sorry...all the work you do...I am very appreciative!
I froze them for now, seems to be fine.
I will follow your instructions tonight..
    Thanks
Also what the hell another system app "pipo boot wizard" - believe it also has a strange G type logo?

          Pipo M9Pro w/Chainfire3D ?

Chainfire3D is an intermediary OpenGL driver. What does that mean? It means that Chainfire3D sits between your apps and the graphics drivers, and can intercept and/or change commands between the two. It has some built-in functions, and can be further extended with plugins to provide extra functionality.
Has anyone tried this app out ?

I have always liked what chainfire develops but you never know when you add the Pipo into the mix..

Any help on occasional reboots / goes black

Any help on occasional reboots / goes black - then it needs a reset ???

              I have tried a few different kernels, stock 3.0 / 3.01 406 & 407 kernels..and some other conservative kernels listed here..
              Still flaky....pretty clean too...not many apps ..
Any thoughts, tips...would be greatly appreciated...

No thoughts, but I have exactly the same problem and I am currently running the latest stock Pipo rooted by root genius. It seems to do it most when it gets to full charge overnight which is a bugger when you wake up in the morning! I am running a completely bloated Pipo version just to see what happens, so far it seems to be as stable as Randy's - and I get the Chinese crap for my daughter, so she is happy as well! I am looking forward to an upgrade to 4.4.4 which may well sort out the idle battery drain issues!! - The OTA seems to be working here in China, but I am not sure if I have had any new stuff yet.

I'm not holding my breath...but if you happen to notice an OTA...can you dump it for me?

I would if I could, but I am not sure how to dump FROM the tablet to a PC?? If I spot an update on the Pipo website of course, but if it arrives by magical airwaves to the tablet I am not sure how to. I am also off to the UK for two weeks tomorrow, so will be out of the loop for a while.

Like I said, I'm not expecting much more from Pipo for this device...but if you do notice an update...let me know and I can walk you through the process...it's really easy with the tool that's included in all of my ROM kits.

                        problems with downloaded zip file

I have downloaded the .zip file from the link on the first page 3 different times and I am getting a "directory mismatch" error when trying to unzip any or all files - any suggestions? Is it possible the file on the download link is corrupted?

                        Thank you.

While it is possible, it's very unlikely. If it's worked for everybody else, it should work for you. That file has been downloaded thousands of times.

I'm at work, on a choked down public wifi connection, so I will have to wait until I get home in the morning to investigate.

For the same reason I can't check it tonight...I can't provide you with an alternative link. Please stay tuned and I can get you an answer....in about 8-10 hours from now. Sorry for the inconvenience.
