I am still using 102k4, because if I use any firmware after that on my tronsmart s89 elite, the device gets really hot and start hanging up (major slowdown, van only click once every 30 seconds or so).
Is there anyone else with this problem and has this been fixed for 106k4?
I have already tried 103k4 104k4 and 105k4 and their respective finless versions when they came out and keep going back to 102k4 because that's the only firmware that keeps my device cool and not hanging all the time.

Had finnless 1.7 before without problem .... Only issue was playback under xbmc wich really was bad now on 106k4 everything runs smooth under xbmc...... the launcheranimations are still slow

Nice to hear playback remains smooth compared to previous firmware. As i reverted to 104k4 as was best playback experience, i will need to try out the 1064k.

I see another Beta of minix firmware is out! be cool if Bob could get some code from that for the NTFS tweaks.

Yeah i think for best overall experience with launchers is just to install your own. that default media launcher is very clumsy on the S89H

Found a bug on 106k4 when u use ethernet and go to standy and than switch it on again after a few minutes ...ethernet speed lags.... U have to restart ethernet then u will get full speed back

Missing parts in movies in xbmc

Hi,

I did try a few updates, including this one.
I am missing a 3th of the movie on the right side and Movie plays 20% to low on screen.

Whats wrong here?

CPU Temperature on s89

I tried just about all the roms including the latest 1.8 and the only one that keeps the cpu temperature low, according to CPU Temperature App, is Finless 1.5. So I have been using 1.5 since it came out.

same problem here.
aspect ration needs tp be 720p but it wil not let me change it .
it stays in 1920x1080 mode ?

is there a addon or patch that can change it to 720p and keeps it that way.
also i noticed that dts is not alway playing back ( no sound )

any feedback would be cool , also new to this android thingie so dumb it down a bit

Exactly the same bug is on 104K4 firmware. If you reboot device or unplug/plug power adapter, the ethernet speeds are about 90 Mbps according to Speedtest application https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...roid.speedtest But after standby you can get only half of the speed ~ 40 Mbps until the next full reboot. It is worth mentioning that according to my observations, this does not happen every time after suspend and wake up.
