Can someone please clarify if this box supports Dolby TrueHD/DTS HD-MA formats?

I had no luck playing movies with lossless audio tracks in XBMC -- it recognizes the HD formats but they're downmixed to DTS/DD 5.1.

There was a review of this exact same model which claimed MBox can decode HD audio tracks. Am I missing something? So how to make it work?

We dont have any 7.1 Stereo System,I can give you some hints: (Only in XBMC)
1.Should be HDMI/Spidf passthrough;
2.In Settings->System->Audio output->Number of channels, Set to 7.1

The internal 4K Player cant play True HD.

But But ours are fine on both Ap6210 and Ap6330~

I suggest you give more chance to this FW.

The MXplayer and XBMC and Netflix are installed to data/app,So if you uninstall,it wont be back after reboot,only if you restore the system.

What do you mean, what kind of problems do you have with this new ROM os S89H ?

ok wifi works, kinda neat memorry wiper in it too. ps3 works with wire connected still have issue trying to connect to blue tooth on ps3, same issue i had with bobs with blue tooth wired works though. ntfs works. great work nice to see the updates coming so fast for these devices

Can you post a link to the xbmc build you incoperated into this rom? kinda like a heres the credits?

Would you please add following line to init.prop at next release? It is useful to connect via ADB using network not USB.

If I try to edit existing init.prop with above line, it will be reset when I reboot the box.

Yes, I can add in terminal, but for to work that feature, we need to reboot the box and it will be recover to original init.prop when I reboot.

someone with fast connection can do a speedtest? in 107k4 im getting 15-20mbit max with ethernet while i have 250mbit (i know it's an 100mbit ethernet, so it should be enough bandwidth) is it fixed in 108k4?

you can't compare different internet speeds unless you are using devices with the similar specs on the same network. Also ISPs rate their speeds under maximum preformance which are never met. They also throttle during prime hours and are also slowed down with larger suscription density/area. your best way to analyze your speed (to see if its a rom issue) is to run speed test on multiple devices on the same network and compare results amongst the similar devices. if they vary significantly after repeated testing around the same time of day/night then you can come up with a conclusion.

Because I dont have PS3,I think Bob can handle this..

I dont know how you test,but I test before with Iperf connecting a PC directly ,it can be up to 90Mbps...And the cable might does matter.
