When u got no sound it seems u didnt set filepermission on audio_policy.conf after inserting..... Causes no sound overall cause file wouldnt be read from android ..... Dont forget to reboot .......

Solved!!. The problem was that the conf file were corrupted, I have downloaded again and everything seems to be ok.

Just one question.... What happen if I connect the S82 not with HDMI but with the RCA cable (Red-White-Yellow)... Is it going to sound in the TV?

I think this file MUST be in the next compiled version, cause without it the Mele F10 Pro is a pain in the ass for this ROM.

I think that when i plug the mele f10 pro dongle should appear in "Setup" - "Sound" an option with "Sound devices - Sound devices Manager" to choose "HDMI" or "SPDIF" or something, but at least in this ROM this don't appear. Is that normal?

Anyone try this yet on the av cable i know it works fine on my flatscreen but have a crt at the cabin and want to take it along with me if it will work.

Is the resolution locked or will it change if the av cable is used?

....I believe FullScreen+ app does not work with kit kat...

that's partly true. I installed it but it workes not as good as on Android 4.2
1 the buttons are not completey on the bottem
2 Homebutton does not work
3 recent aps does work (with this button you can go to the homescreen)

In cvbs mode,it can be 480p/576P..

It depends the HW,cant cut off the 5V power...

Oman i'm also experiencing another issue:

After i wake the device from sleep/suspend sometimes the internet connection doesn't re-activate, i have to go to MBox Settings and re-check ethernet checkbox. I don't use wifi.

by default thats itsexactly what it does. android uses like the audio out and mute the rest. I hace changed the audio conf file located in etc. But now skype dont seems to recognized the mic, or i have to do something i dont know.

Here is one that is easy for you to use. Look up Scott's Digital Signage and install the app. There might be two apps under that name use the web player and not the rise vision one. Then find a site with html5 video. not youtube it actually works. I used www.videojs.com since it was the easiest. It crashes the app using <video> tags almost automatically. The app runs fine on all other devices that are rockchip and i have narrowed it down to the amplayer causing this issue. Any help getting this fixed or at least a solution to why its doing it would be helpful. Thanks

Wonderful work Oman, collaborating with all the devs here at Freaktab!
A few remarks from me on the release:

1. XBMC as UPnP renderer does not work reliably via WiFi (both 2,4 GHz and 5 GHz). Only on Ethernet the UPnP entry for XBMC is found every time, on WiFi it often disappears, e.g. after music was played through the XBMC interface directly.
2. On 12 - the suspend/poweroff popup when using the power-off button is a good idea in principle. But when you are using the box in headless mode (UPnP renderer for audio in my case), nobody sees that, so I would propose making that an option in the SettingsMBOX app, perhaps?
3. Why is it that the power button on the box can only be used to power on but not to suspend after boot or wake up from suspend?

I really hope there will eventually be a full source code package released for the AM802 SoC so these devices can be kept up to date with the latest Linux kernels and XBMC releases even after Beelink stops manufacturing them...
