I just checked 109K4

1) It is rooted already
2) The permissions are now set correctly so an "official" XBMC should work and you should get video!

I had a problem last night updating to 109k4
I edited the .Aml script to include
--wipe_system
Now its installed perfectly first time, I'm using the same s82_109k4.zip and same sd card
So it may be the system wipe did the trick

One thing I noticed straight away is the notification tones are still broken.

Try this please as I think I know why.

Change the sound file to something else for notifications and see if that works. I think the default notification sounds are blank
They may have done that to not allow notifications to interrupt your video experience

It does actually work when I received an email. But the tones dont play when selected. But does intermittent
Its a bit strange vto be honest. Sometimes plays
Like sliding the notification sound plays sometimes
As long as it works when get an email thats all that matters

Hmm it still bugs me that I flashed just the k200-ota-20140917.zip file from omans link via twrp recovery and still lost all data. Now you mention that you even added a data wipe to the zip .. I'm puzzled

Google Text To Speech

I updated to 109K4 Flash process went as expected but when it initially started It came up with a "Google Text to Speech Engine Failed to Start" I also get the " Allow google to check periodically for misbehaving apps. etc.. " this usually only comes up if you have your play store account linked. Just checking if others are also seeing this?

Yes It does. Still in the process of testing and observed that it does not seem to wipe. I used the bob finless package and it should have wiped.
