      P1 Charging Problem!

      Hello everyone.


      I ordered the Pipo P1 Tablet and received it yesterday. I started it, configured the WLAN connection, downloaded my favorite games from the Google Playstore and played it until it shut automaticly down (due to low battery). I never plugged in a power cable...

      So when i then tried to charge the device, it never started. I waited a couple of hours. Tried to do hold the power button for a fairly long time (2 minutes; and shorter)... Nothing happend. No LED light (i think there is no LED, but im not sure, since i never charged it), just no reaction.

      Dafuq?! And now i read that others have/had the same problem.
      My Question: How to solve that problem???? Or did i just waste 300 euros (germany) -_-
      The tablet seemed to be very nice, no lagging, nothing. -_-

        fullnoob

        Connect your tablet to the adapter,pusch the power button for more than 20seconds
        see if it starts . if not pusch for a few seconds.

        Maybe you are lucky to recover in this way.

        If you already did your try with the adapter connected than you have bad luck.

        I have read somewhere that it is possible your tablet stops working in case you use it till it stops due low battery.
        Further for lipo batts it is not so good to deep unload the batt for the life of the batts.

        Hope you are able to get it alive.

          try the reset pinhole, then press power button again....
          this may help.
          If not probably voltage regulators are died (was very common on previous pipo tablets) and you need a warranty repair.
          Does it costs too much in germany? Did you really pay 300€?

            Hey guys!

            Thanks for your fast replies! I did try the 2 ways your mentioned above! Nothing worked. No Reaction. And i thought it was "good for the battery" if you drop it low and then fill it completely...

            And yes it really costs that much. I ordered via **** from a reseller in Berlin.

            Offer: Now the price is 255 Euro, last week it costed me 275 Euro. I didnt want to order it from a reseller out of Germany, because last time I ordered something there i had to go to the next "Zoll"Office and pay 19% additionally (+ that office is 150 km away, lol)...




            I think I will sent the tablet back. Lol didnt even charge it for once....

                Yes, it's a bit tricky to get my Pipo P1 started after complete battery drainage. I have to charge it for a few minutes and unplug charger. Then try combination of power on, power on + volume ...until it starts.
                Sorry, can't get more detailed scenario now. I need some more time to test again.

                  Just to enter in panic as soon as the battery is becoming low!
                  Never appened on previous pipo models!

                      Yes, it's not a problem to get it going again. The problem, I have is to share an exact scenario on what to do.
                      I will drain it out later on this week and try to figure out exactly how to start it again.

                        Fellas, I have been reading your posts with interest. I have owned a single core Sanei N10 tablet, a Pipo Max M9. and now a P1 tablet. To give you some update:
                        I received my white 32 gig Pipo P1 from PandaWill on the 1st of this month. The battery was partially charged. The accessory pack that came with it had been opened and the box holding the tablet was not sealed. The manual supplied was for the MAX M6 Pro. I wasn't too impressed with that. I ran it for a couple of minutes. It ran fine. Watched parts of the videos in 4K – was lovely. Surfed the internet …. beautiful, YouTube videos ….. no problems. It was quite fast! Loved it.

                        I removed the protective film on the screen thinking everything was fine with the tablet. The tablet did crash a couple of times with launcher error.
                        Put the tablet up for charging. Fully charged, it started playing up! The OS went into a loop. Could not access the tablet. The touch screen went almost dead. Every now and then I could just get in, then, the tablet would reboot itself. It kept on doing that until the battery died.
                        I went online and spoke to one of the employees. She was helpful saying that the company was sorry about it. i was asked to send the service department a video as well as my order details. This I did.
                        Today I received an email from PandaWill service department asking me to take it to a repair shop in Melbourne (where I live ) to see what was wrong with it. They would be happy to pay reasonable charges. The other alternative I was offered was to send it back to PandaWill and that I would have to pay freight.
                        Unfortunately, we don't have a repair shop for Pipo tablets in Melbourne, or anywhere else in Australia, as far as I know. I have emailed them back asking them to send me an RMA and to make provisions for return postage from Australia to China. I have made it clear that I should not have to pay ANY charges as I have been sent a faulty tablet.
                        It seems to me that PandaWill does not ship the tablets directly from their own warehouse. Some third party ships it for them (drop shipping.)


                        Has anyone else had problems with the P1? Seems like the tablet might have issues with KitKat.

                          Pipo p1 camera problem

                          Hey guys. I was following the tread for few weeks, and after wondering which tablet to buy i choose Pipo P1.Bought it from Tinideal.I can say i am already sorry buying something from not local seler.
                          The problem is the tablet camera, it often crashes right away when starting it or after few photos, autofocus is can't focus well at all, photos are very bad quality. I am not sure but first few was fine i think. Did not pay much attention. Anyway , after the first few hours of playing with it, i flashed Rileys rom 1.5, so far so good, and after that i noticed the problem with the camera. Changed the firmware to the original back, same thing. after that flashed Omas's firmware from arctablet still same. Now i am back to Riley's 1.5 wifi version.
                          So my question is if anyone else of you have trouble with the camera? And the second thing is WiDi , when trying to conect it to my Lg tv, they are finding each other , and right away the tablet is loosing the tv, even that Lg is still showing the tableet as conected but i can't cast the screen to the tv. Any sugestitions?
                          Had the option to by lenovo s6000 from amazon , cheaper than this , maybe not as good as specs. But definitly better customer support .

                            Sorry to hear that you are also having software problems with the P1. It seems that Pipo has not tested the software properly because they were in a hurry to market the tablet. Read my post above, and you will see that my tablet seems to have BOTH hardware and software problems, as suggested by Admin. Now I am disputing the seller of the tablet through PayPal. I had problem with the Cast also. My P1 tablet could not even find my LG TV! Seems like Pipo is going down the same pathas Micro$haft, releasing buggy software and using the buyers as Beta testers for them.

                              Update on communication with tablet seller - Pandawill

                              As promised earlier .....
                              I received 2 emails from Pandawill supplying me with the RMA, and postal address. They, however, still want ME to pay for the postage.
                              This was on of the emails I received .... mind you, no mention of Pandawill paying for return postage ....

                              1. The tablet that was shipped to me IS FAULTY from factory, so,
                              2. Pandawill MUST pay for shipping, NOT ME. Obviously, the tablet was not checked by Pandawill before shipping.

                              3. The accessory pack I received was open, and the booklet seemed to have been used before. Also the accessory pack is NOT for the P1. It is for the Max m6 Pro.
                              4. I will NOT accept a repair, ONLY BRAND NEW. If not, I will take all my money back, including postage. There are no scratches or damage to the tablet anywhere.
                              5. If Pandawill is happy to pay for the return postage, I will post it immediately as requested in your email.
                              6. I am already frustrated. It seems the PIPO P1 has hardware and software problems. (This is not the first tablet I own) I certainly do not want to be the beta tester for Pipo.

                              I need to know of your response ASAP, otherwise I will escalate it through Paypal.

                              I went to PatPal and sent another email to them sayng that I will escalate it to a claim unless Pandawill agrees to pay return postage, and supply me with a tablet that works as was initially intended, or, to refund the total amount I paid including express postage.

                              I received a reply later in the evening today ......

                              We're so sorry for what had happened to you.
                              But could you please close the dispute first?
                              And then we can talk about it ,you can send it back please ,after we confirm,we'll give you a satisify answer

                              I am sorry, but you know very well that I will NOT be able to recover anything through PayPal if I close the dispute. PayPal has made this very clear on their website. I am happy to return the tablet to you straight away if Pandawill will accept to pay for the freight back. I paid the price you asked for on your website in good faith and with express postage. I should not be liable for your mistakes. I will escalate this with PayPal tomorrow at mid day (Australian Eastern standard time) unless I get a confirmation from Pandawill accepting to pay return postage, and to either refund my money in full or to supply me with a new tablet that is in good working order with the correct accessories. In the event a new one is not available I will request that you refund my money in full, including postage. I may, however, purchase another proven brand and model you sell - no guarantees, though. I hope your management will make good business decision and fix this quickly.

                              Unfortunately, we are being taken for fools by these companies whereby they send us faulty goods, then expect us to pay return postage. They will probably claim that the tablet was either scratched, or damaged when they received it.
                              I will make a video of the goods while packing into their original packaging material before sending off to make sure I don't get cheated.

                                Sorry to hear for yours. I hope its only software but not hardware, because i don't want to go trough tinydeal aftersale HELL. They are already pissing me off with request of photos videos etc. And it will become same story as yours, pay return etc, wait them to confirm receiving it which will take long time etc.
                                I learned my lesson and i i am not going to buy anything like electronic from China anymore, at least not for this price.
