Hiw hot is it? If it gets to about 50-60 degrees Celsius you should be fine. 50 may feel like allot more. If you have a ir reader check the temperature...

I don't have, it's a good idea to buy an infrared thermometer tomorrow.

Anyway I can feel tooooooo hot when I do those things. At 1.008 Ghz is very hot playing games, but at 1.416 Ghz it's impossible to touch the case more than 1 second.

Also no space in the case for a heatsink... maybe 1mm each part of the board is the max. And no ventilation holes... I'm not sure if a double heatsink can fix something anyway.

Is there any way to configure the CPU to 1.008 Ghz as "by defect"? (I mean before flash the firmware)

Maybe is the active chip. Its a small chip near the cpu that acta as the PMU

I hope is not a PMU problem...

            I'll check tomorrow

Its not a pmu problem. The active chip gets real hot. There are few small resistors arownd the pmu

It's the SoC.... clearly. While play a game the SoC becomes hot, I just needed my fingers to know. No problem with the PMU or around it. Also is not from NAND, RAM, WiFi or ITE (HDMI).

                I'm making some CPU tests...

I wouldnt sacrifice speed if simple physical mods will fix the issue. Certainly not if it still runs hot at 1ghz.. Pull the case off the stick and run it with the pcb bare or with with a fan on it. Throttling the clocks back that far shouldn't be necessary and thermal retention issues within the case will slow cook the stick itself, leading to chip and component failure.
Out of sheer curiousity, is the room the stick operates in of cool temp?

As close to it as possible. I was going to run a 5v peltier plate on the SOC when I first bought my stick. It would work like a charm too, but would also require sealing my whole stick rig in a completely airtight chamber. Still might try it, too.
Ive never had any issues with heat dissipation, but I also run a heavily modded stick. Only the network chipset was spared a custom heatsink. The air being blown across the heatsinks is even drawn past a granite slab to aid cooling effect. Is it ugly? Probably. However, it performs with rock solid (pun) stability and has never random rebooted.

Try to connect it to the OTG or HOST port

I can make a underclock kernel for you limited to 1GH if you want... As temperature goes, my MK902 with the same RK3188 is stable at about 43 degrees celsius on the heathsyng as well as the board under the CPU. Also the Active chip is about 44. My PMU is 8846QM here are some photos.
