Thank you for all the hard work you are putting into development of TWRP for the android boxes.
I have tried several of the images and have had some mixed/odd results.
I have a M8S with a KAC-003 Ver: v1.0 DATE:150422
With Andriod info the board is listed as an n200.
I have tested both of the n200 images.
With the first image I was able to flash a zip to the box and do a backup.
After doing the backup I then did a restore to the box. The restore said it completed successfully but it wouldn't boot.
After the failed restore I re-launched and the box and TWRP loaded but I was no longer able to view any files on the external SD card. If you view the external SD card it reports 0bytes as the size for the card.
The n200 emm image responds exactly the same. I however can fix all errors of disk size by changing the file system format, in the ADVANCE WIPE options. It still does not mount the external SD Card other than to load the original recovery image. Occasionally it will not mount any drive, internal or external SD, or a USB drive.
I tried the K200 image and all functions appear to work but this image seems to hang and randomly lockup. I have not been able to run it long enough to try a install or restore at this point.
MBXIII imagine acts much like the n200 images.
If there is a different image you think I should try or any modifications I should make in the settings, basically any advice you have would be greatly appreciated!

Hi guys, could someone please offer me some guidance. I have a backup rom for my Beelink mini MXiii box and i am currently using Libreelec. I wish to put the rom back on the box so i can use android again but I am getting very confused as to how to do this. I note on the first page of this thread that Abdul has kindly put some stock rom links up. So I assume I download the one for the Mini MX, but what do I do the? I know he says the following Install method:
- Download your image and rename to recovery.img - (does this just mean I rename the rom to recovery.img???)
- Copy the image to your External SD, and boot while pressing the reset button. On TWRP screen select install->images pick recovery.img
If the above means that I download the rom and rename it recovery.img, I did this then put it on my SD card and then tried to boot via the toothpick recovery method......but nothing happened at all. Am I missing something?
Cheers

Hi ! I have a question please.
I have a M8N box Tv with a custom firmware and I buy another I see with Hardware info this is the same box quad core Amlogic s802 a9r4 2.0Ghz Mali 450mp octa core.
but the Firmware are not the same and not good than my another M8N.
I want to update with this firmware but It is preferable to do a nandroid twrp backup ?
what do you think ? And my firmware are root with xposed ! I doo root the new box before update firmware ?
But if I flash Twrp I loose my stock recovery & when I start SuperSu ask me normal or Twrp ?Last edited by ggkameleon; 27 September 2016, 05:12.

Hello
now ,one by one , s912 tv boxes are for good in our lives!
is it possible to consider the possibility of "modding" TWRP recoveries for these boxes?
Nexbox A1 and the special one version A3 (like the one i have) , Beelink GT1, MECOOL BB2 , Acemax M12N , and so much more......
All us, the s912 owners would appreciate it so much!
thank you!

dear abdul_pt
here is the stock recovery from NEXBOX A1(similar with my A3)
i'm trying to port it with this : "recovery-twrp3020-nexbox_a95x.img" but without luck!
the nexbox a3(s912) starts with this port made recovery and the "navigation" works only with the stock remote in mouse control but besides the navigation i can not do anything else!
this is the only mode twrp recovery i found for nexbox and i don't have big knowledges for these things so probably something is missing from my port made recovery or this nexbox_a95x recovery is incompatible with s912 chips(i don't know!!)
the files i have ported are : recovery.fstab and recovery.img-zImage
so if you please help me if i need something more( files to port) or make a twrp recovery from the stock recovery!!
any help will appreciated!!!!!
thank you!Last edited by gatos814; 30 September 2016, 16:54.

Guys don't just ask for a TWRP for your device, you need to provide some things also.
Code:From PC do : adb root ( if ADB isn't root) adb shell cat /proc/partitions > partitions.txt adb shell ls -l -R /dev/block > block.txt Now where you open the terminal window are two txt files sent them to me and stock recovery From Terminal Emulator do : su cat /proc/partitions > /sdcard/partitions.txt ls -l -R /dev/block > /sdcard/block.txt Now on your internal SDcard are two txt files send them to me and stock recovery
