for cube talk 9x is a different story:
now the tablet is perfectly working, 100% stable, chrome is fixed, brightness is ok, no lacks. Perfeclty usable.

It would be good to have an update to android 5.0 lollipop, but jus for curiosity and to see if the battery can last even longer (anyway battery life is outstanding as it is) with the newer power saving strategies of lollipop.

I agree, just for curiosity. Since JB4.2 nothing has really changed - my Cube tablet running kitkat looks just like my Ainol tablet running Jelly Bean 4.2. In my opinion the last major user interface innovation was widgets on the lock screen. There's probably lots of stuff under the skin, but to be frank that doesn't affect my day to day experience.

Do i have the preloader file checked when flashing this ROM?
A bit concerned due to reading on other sites that flashing the preloader when restoring a ROM will brick device.
The instuctions included dont say not to flash this file, and havnt seen mention of it.
So do i flash with preloader?

I just flashed all the items checked by default in the sp flash tool and it worked perfectly.

I think it will only break the device if you flash a wrong preloader (for a different device) or there's an error while flashing the preloader....

Hi guys,

Ive received my Cube 2 week ago and ive updated it with this ROM.

I have 2 problems with the CUBE.

1. Internet doesnt work after tablet wakes up from standby. Only opion is to switch WIFI option off and on again. (problem is not caused bye the ROM, it had the problem out of the box)

2. GPS doenst work anymore after the update.

Could you help me with this please? Thanks in advance!

Sounds like hardware problems to me - at least for the WiFi. For GPS use the utilities in engineer mode to see if a cold restart helps. When investigating GPS problems go and stand in a place that gives the cube the best chance - outside and away from too many high buildings. The MKT utility YGPS (I think its installed) is quite easy to use and can be accessed from engineer mode. Try resetting AGPS too.

Did you clear cache and data from recovery after flashing? If not boot to recovery and format data and cache.

Brian, do you also mean Dalvik cache?

It won't do any harm. I think formatting data from recovery should be enough. All apps and settings will then need setting up from scratch following this.

It won't do any harm. I think formatting data from recovery should be enough. All apps and settings will then need setting up from scratch following this.

It dit clear cache and data only. Result is I don't get a Sat fix anymore. With the former ROM I dit. I'll try clearing Dalvik though, otherwise do a fresh flash.

Power off the device till brief vibration. Then press power for 1 second, release it and quickly hold vol+ until recovery appears. I recommend TWRP.
