so i install twrp.... try to backup to sd card and i get a popup saying that i cant backup to an sd card because of changes ?... looked for the simple answer on google but its not clear ?.... thanks pinky

Have you studied Stock Android Recovery and Custom Recovery options? If not then some reading and researching would be in order.

i do have an idea of what twrp is and backup/restore.... but the only time i used twrp before i ended up with a brick..... of course i should go through the motions of due diligence .... but i can backup and install fine using xbmc backup.....just looking to see if i can save time and do it in one quick job.... i have a list of stuff to get to grips with like twrp and flashing..... thank the lord for the likes of riley and others who make it easy.... pinky

You don't install TWRP, you just flash it with the new file that Randy provided in the ROM zip in place of the stock recovery file. Then when you boot into recovery you will be in TWRP. The ROM needs stock recovery for the first flash though so after that you can go back into the flash toll and untick all of the boxes except for Recovery, then browse to the TWRP file with the button on the right, switch to loader mode and click run to flash.

Not quite. Every android device has two operating systems, one is the normal android system and the other is the recovery system. When you boot to recovery instead of the system you can backup or restore your device. TWRP is more advanced than stock recovery as it has a GUI with buttons and advanced features including file manager etc.

This version feels a bit slower for me.

This Version seems faster for me than the previous ones.

Its not the Antutu Score (33 with 1.9 now 34) but while surfing or using apps ect. it feels snappier.

another method install twrp just install Flashify and select twrp file

These ROM's are based on official Pipo firmware. Wifi version #665 dated 10/28/14. There is no new 3G only version at this time.

There was no indication of changes in the firmware, so I can't tell you what is different.

This ROM is:

Rooted Clockworkmod Superuser
Deboated
English default (full language support)
Google Play Store fixes added to allow more compatible apps
Init.d/Busybox support added
Pre-Install added (can install apps automatically from external SD "autoinstall" folder)
Reboot App by Petrus
2, 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12gb user app space (by choosing the desired parameter file).
TWRP Recovery by Abdul_pt
Multi-user support added with changes in framework.jar to activate it.

Edit: Now v2.0.1 to fix boot loop on flashing.

I have updated my P4 from stock rom to RileyROM 2.0.1,
but the build number is v2.0 instead of v2.0.1 after flashing.
Is it correct ?

If your tablet boots...you have 2.0.1. I didn't edit the version number. 2.0 had a boot loop issue.

I had already upgraded my P4 to RileyROM 2.0.
Can I flash this Recovery alone ?
Or I have to flash RileyROM 2.0 with TWRP recovery together ?
