At first for people who don't understand why I'm doing here with this another device, I can tell that there isn't any difference what modification of 3288 based device we have in our hands for firmware testing. There are two main distinguishes among such a wide range of devices, that will influence on wifi/BT and stock IR remote support only. The rest 3288 based hardware configuration is similar and if even not to say the same.

I've installed my standard package of applications which my all another rockchip devices have.
UI is perfect and fast, one internal memory partition and five available USB storage in settings are excellent too.
Internet speed test shows me about 1Gbps for DL and ...ZERO for UL for Ethernet.
When I use 100Mb port it properly shows approximately 100 DL/UL.
I tried to play my test 1080p movies and inspite of flawless enough image I have to confirm sadly that I experienced HW decoding sound issues too.
    HW decoding:
Both stock and MX player don't produce any HDMI TV sound with the Defaul Output.
Both stock and MX player produce HDMI TV sound with the HDMI Bitstream(w/o ability to change volume of course) but downmixed DD AC-3 sound tracs only, DTS and TrueHD doesn't do at all (I've custom MX codec installed).
MX Player produces 5.1 DD AC-3 sound via SPDIF but not DTS with Spdif Passthrough.
    HW+ decoding:
MX player produces all (DD AC-3, DTS and TrueHD) downmixed HDMI sounds with the Defaul Output.
MX player produces all kinds of sounds (DD AC-3, DTS and TrueHD) via SPDIF with Spdif Passthrough as LPCM Stereo.
MX player produces all (DD AC-3, DTS and TrueHD) downmixed HDMI sounds with the HDMI Bitstream(w/o ability to change volume).

Two my Samsung TVs and MX Player Pro V1.7.31 with custom codec for DTS were used for this test.

It is definitely something wrong with the ffmpeg because with my stock FW I didn't meet this kind of issues.

    And Dear wasser,
Concerning the kernel+boot+resource images pack for two HTC boards, I'm not able to insist on it by any way, but I can test them so fast as you want with my device(HTC_T031_V1.0) and my friends can do the same with HTC_T032_V1.2.
You know it is required to add AP6330 driver support into the kernel and making tiny adjustments in rk-kernel.dtb.
Thanks and I hope it helps.
Hi, may I know how did you flashed the newest rom and get it work with your CS918II ? I have CR12 RK3288 with A6330 (I don't use wifi), I flashed the rom with my own kernel.img and resource.img, it just don't boot up.. Curious here..

No, have to use latest ROM for updated codec files.
Can manually extract them from a new ROM or download the binaries from Firefly SDK and copy it over to /system/lib
        eg. libvpu.so, libstagefright.so, libffmeg.so, libbluray.so, librk_hevcdec.so, libmedia.so, librk_on2.so, librkffplayer.so
Also some HEVC improvements are in latest kernel, not system.
Can I use yours from the system image in your 1.4 rom or will the firefly sdk ones be most up to date? Also, is beta3 SPMC out yet?

        Thanks!

Also, to wasser, mo123, anyone else who knows, this system I am working on has mo123's v1.2 ROM (used for compatibility with tronsmart boot image and resource image so IR works) and I am installing SPMC 14beta2.

Anyway I was digging through the rc files trying to figure out how to init bluetooth on boot like the stock ROMs do. I added some lines to init.rc which are used on the firefly, haven't rebooted to check it yet.

While I was looking through the rc files I noticed in the init.rk30board.rc that the line 'insmod /system/lib/modules/vpu_service.ko' is commented out. Is this correct or should I remove the comment?

Another thing to mo123, you told me to use the lib files from firefly sdk but some of the libs at
          Firefly-RK3288 / device / rockchip / common / vpu / lib /

in the hub were last updated last summer. Should I use the vpu ko from there as well? It is last updated 6/12/2014 (last summer).

          Thanks!

Also I do not see a libvpu in the firefly git, only libomxvpu_enc.so and libomxvpu_dec.so

Does anyone know if 4k 60hz is working? I can't get it as an option despite using an HDMI 2.0 cable on a 4k tv?

Because I read this http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...l=1#post229070 and it sounds it works, but maybe also a problem because of edid (I have a problem at 1080p, my TV can handle 24, 25, 30, 50 and 60 but the communication between box and TV only includes 50 and 60 so the box only allow 50 and 60 (you can see it at dmesg))...

Maybe I've been sold a fake HDMI 2.0 cable? (I bought it from ****).

I looked in sys/devices/.... Hdmi modes and there's no option at all for 4k 60hz,only 4k 30. I'll have to do more digging around to see if I can find anything.
