I have had the T9 for a bit now and everything works great and no grainy screen at all and battery life is very good..I have it rooted already and have TWRP installed and the only thing I noticed is when I want to backup the rom to the internal sd it does not show enough space available on the internal sd but there is plenty...so I have to save to external sd..not sure why it does not show the proper size for internal sd..but otherwise all works well.

GPS locked within 2 mins without A-GPS & data plan, impressive.
Would you share how you set up GPS?

What app did you install? What else is required... such as a sim card... cell provider, etc.

I ask as I was not aware it could be free.

      Thanks.

        1. Do you noticed that battery temperature sensor is not working and shows always 25°C? That's weird because i think battery temp is important. My other MTK device even turns off when battery overheats on heavy usage in hot air conditions.
        2. Why is so important to backup IMEI? MTK Droid does not allow me to backup(disabled button), so is it enough to write down my IMEI to text file? or there are some other must backup files?
        3. Anyone tried to flash stock rom from manufacturers page? is everything ok with these files?

        4. Maybe anyone have increased app storage? because this tablet does not have EBR files I can't find way to do that. Maybe anyone knows similar device that does not have EBR files either and have their app storage increased? Maybe link2sd could be temporary solution for now to move apps to external sd card :/

        5. Also as I can see MTK Droid does not support this chipset so it must be updated to work properly, anyone knows if developers working on that or if there is anything how we can help them?
Use this command to backup your nvram, boot ,recovery and etc, without MTK Droid and PC.

        dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p2 of=/sdcard/nvram.bin
        dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p7 of=/sdcard/boot.img
        dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p8 of=/sdcard/recovery.img

I didn't install anything... was outside & lost, so I tried my luck, turn on GPS & used google maps, no wifi & no data...

Edit: Sorry, I used wifi to use google maps AFTER gps signal is locked, but to get signal lock, no sim card & no wifi...

Btw, anyone managed to permanently remove the chinese apps? I uninstalled but they always reinstall themselves after each reboot...

Just to confirm - already rooted, so I can just use root explorer & delete?

Thanks! Managed to delete all with root explorer.

Discovered another annoying problem - screen get scrambled & hang every 1-2 days, got to long press power button to reboot. Anyone else facing this problem with rooted 1.08? This always happen when I'm using perfect viewer, 3-4 times already...

Yes mine does that too. It eventually reboots by itself.
It usually has happens when I'm playing games so I'm wondering if it happens because the machine is being pushed to is limits. Over heating perhaps.

Haven't seen one single reboot or anything strange with FW 1.08.
Looking to typical FW release schedule and some lack of FW's on last period of time from Cube I expect soon LP release for T9/T7. On Facebookok they still don't say nothing about that when asking.

May I ask those who experienced random reboots before... did your tablet just reboot itself or did it hang with screen scrambled like mine?

Reason I ask is the last time I had a tablet where the screen got scrambled/display garbage & hang, it was a hardware fault, I hope this is not the case here

Mine after a few seconds (didn't time) but within a minute it reboots by itself.

Just an ideea...reflash from scratch FW 1.07, update OTA to FW1.08 and look after this reboot pattern you have.
In my opinion is the only way see if is an HW failure (bad memory or overheating CPU) or an software issue.
