I have not rooted my t9 because I'm waiting for lollipop and don't want to mess with it.
i have another issue where the auto brightness gets stuck so I definitely have a software problem.

Was there ever a fix for the battery temperature being stuck at the same temp all the time?

Battery stuck is a trick used for Talk 9x too.
Temp sensor is simply not present so they forced a fixed value.

Mine don't reboot, it just hang with screen scrambled until I long press the power button to force reboot. But I think it might be caused by Perfect Viewer, since it only happen when I'm using the app, but intermittent though, doesn't happen everytime I use it.

i didn't notice that before.
that could explain the crashes because the battery does get hot and with no sensor to control its inevitable that the device crashes.

crashes? mh, I didn't got once until now .. The only thing is that sometimes the cam won't work ..

My tablet now get scrambled screen & hang every 2 days regardless of what app I'm running, latest time I wasn't even running any app, just on screen, scrambled, then hang. V1.08 rooted.

I don't think LP will ever be rolled out for our device.... its a shame... but then, I'll get used to it... (LP is not that great anyway....!!!)

Yeah it seems that the T9 will never get to have LP. That's the problem with the Chinese stuff. Development is very short. They just slap a new case and a new name and make it the new flagship model.

The only hope are custom Roms but I don't know what are the chances of that happening either.

Nice to see you have one T9..If I'm not mistaken you created some time ago root patch through CWM for Cube 9X.

I've tried fw from 1.02 all the way to 1.08 again after reading some comments here that 1.05 don't have reboot/crash problems... but didn't solve problem for mine... also tried to throttle the CPU max speed & different governors, nothing works :-( Contacting aliexpress seller for solution...

check you cpu revision by cpu-z first,
Its the CPU revision2... your safe
Revision1 had some issues with thermal (overheating), and other things.
