    Riddick,
    just few clarifications:

file size limit of FAT32 is 4Gb (not 2Gb)

An even better competitor to your T9 is the Teclast T98, I consider it even better than T9 sold at the same price, as I already wrote.

About Chinese brands: there are few and really valid competitors to Cube (luckily), don't worry: Teclast and iFive are very good for example...Ramos with latest produts is a interesting alternative too

Onda and Pipo are far behind them.
    Pipo is the worst now.

My bad, your right, 4gb file size limit. I'll fix my post.

I looked at this and it lacked 4g support, that was a deal breaker for me.

Again all lack 4g support. iFive has a Octa core which is good although the Ramos's appear to all be quad cores.

The T9 on paper currently isn't matched by any competitor at its current price point.

In fact Teclast T98 comes with 4G support http://www.aliexpress.com/store/prod...244332685.html
A real difference in software/implementation of techonologies between Cube T9 and Teclast T98 is lack of Beidou support for Teclast.
In fact Cube T9 is GPS/Glonass/Beidou and Teclast T98 comes only with GPS/Glonass support

I don't know if I can help or I missed something, but 4G on T9 works in France. Maybe it doesn't work in USA and elsewhere.

When did that one get released, cus I bought my T9 from Aliexpress as well, never saw this one. Based on the same chip as the T9 too.

I thought this one was there latest offering -

Does anyone have a teclast T98 that could vouch for its worthiness?

LTE support built in to MTK MT8752 Octa Core

From what I can see the differentiator is the MTK MT8752 Octa Core chip which has 4G LTE built in.

The tablets that use Intel or Rockchip need to add a separate 4G LTE modem and mostly they don't yet do so.

While I might prefer not to have an MTK based device for reasons of third party support the 4G LTE capability would override that concern. Once Lollipop is available I shall jump in and buy a tablet.

This thread and the other at http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...ot-air-tablets are invaluable and my gratitude goes to all the contributors.

Teclast T98 is listed with 16GB internal storage on ainol-novo, pompmall, pandawill, banggood:

pandawill.com ist die beste Quelle für alle Informationen die Sie suchen. Von allgemeinen Themen bis hin zu speziellen Sachverhalten, finden Sie auf pandawill.com alles. Wir hoffen, dass Sie hier das Gesuchte finden!

Tinydeal announced an "upgrade" from 16 to 32GB:

                Aliexpress listed both.

                Elsewhere, hongkongeek, chinistore... list 32GB.

I don't know the 'true reality'...
Maybe, we could contact an owner; he could talk about the screen sensitivity as well...

Now in relation to the partitioning I am not sure it is necessary. It's not wise to be running FAT32 partition under an android environment. Fat32 is very inefficient, and is very slow to write to. Also if you have done it in order to have it recognised within your windows machine, then your approaching this all wrong. Removing the microsd card regularly is only begging for problems. If you must transfer data from your tablet to your computer and vice versa, do it over wireless with es file Explorer.

Lastly Link2sd can move your apps from the system partition to the user partition. The problem with the cube is how they have partitioned the internal microsd. Typically Linux based systems suggest that its best practice to assign one partition at root mount point ( /) and all user data including apps on another partition. This is also done for security reasons. Android system appears to always default app installations outside user data's partition which cube has only assigned 2gb to the root point. Hence the usefulness of Link2sd.

Now I am not entirely sure of this, but script error will occur for two reasons,
                  1. the destination partition is not compatible.
                  2. the device is not rooted properly
                  3. Permission issues either from the source or destination.

I'd suggest downloading a root checker app to confirm you have rooted the Device correctly.
If you are using supersu, there is an option to fix permissions against all apps.

I am yet to read anyone has been able to edit the assigned sizes of these partitions.

It's not wise to be placing installed apps on your external microsd, as the system will mount anything external during boot until the end, not healthy for a working app.

Also when partitioning you can get Link2sd to do it, I think. But seriously I'd steer clear of partitioning your microsd at all.
Thank you for your explanation. I will use Link2SD without the second partition. Good day.

                    Hello everyone,
being noob in the field of tablets, I would like to return to firmware 1.05,
because the FW 1.06 am getting freezes and reboots, which could be kind enough to give me the steps to suivre.pour terms of pc, I board no problem, but now I'm afraid of busi- bullshit.
Thank you in advance for the charitable souls.

Mine has also reverted to random reboots. There is a thread here ...

I downloaded the needed update file (1.04); found the flash tool ...and it is in a folder waiting if I do decide to do this. I may just put up with it till either 1.07 or LP shows.

                      I wish you well!

But I am not sure. US and Canada use different frequencies than Europe and Asia. The Cube T9 was not built for a US/ Canadian market, so may lack the necessary frequencies to work with most carriers in these countries.
Thanks! Actually, I went to Future Shop cell. counter and a smart guy activated it NOT using the IMEI: they know better than the online Virgin rep. somewhere in Costarica (although very friendly)

Regarding touch screen sensitivity...I have found that T9 touchscreen is the same used on Talk 9X.
At least that I see looking to the chip code.
Here is Cube T9/Talk 9X touch screens sold as spare part
                            Cube T9 http://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-A...284242834.html
                            Cube Talk 9X http://www.aliexpress.com/store/prod...280514386.html
I have no ideea why some people have touchscreen issue, on my T9 touch responsiveness is the same like was on my ex-Talk 9X..great.
I still think this is an external screen protector fault.

freeze/reboot are due to OTA ROM upgrade 1.06, if you switch back on 1.05 or before, you will immediately fix it.
Thanks for the suggestion. We'll see what happens, hopefully there will be another upgrade soon to fix these random freezes and reboots that allot of people seem to be having.

                                It's a hardware issue.
I removed the 2 screen protectors and nothing changed.
But I opened it and it seems that the connector on the motherboard is mounted in the wrong way, plus probably the inner film make the things worst.
When I press near the edges it works for few seconds.
I send it back. During the new chinese year
