I have regained control of my T9.

I am now faced with a small menu, it reads:

Select Boot Mode:
Recovery Mode
Fastboot Mode
Normal Boot
Uart Boot

By selecting "Normal Boot" the T9 is back how it was. What have I missed?

if you select recovery mode which recovery starts? the stock or TWRP?

I am not sure if this will help, but before I tried rooting my T9, I was deleting all of the Chinese apps and must have deleted something serious as I got all sorts of random glitches.

There is an app on the T9 with a large 'S' on it which I was unable to remove.

I pressed it as the only thing left to do.

As far as I can tell, this app does a factory reset and even restores the Chinese apps.

It actually made the T9 work better than it had when I first turned it on.

Until my recent adventures in trying to root the T9 that is!

which method is used for the root of t9?

When I select Recovery Mode it must be TWRP that starts as I have never seen it before.

There are four update options, two wipe options a backup and restore of user data and a root integrity check.

That is as far as I have been able to get.

Using SD Maid, I freeze apps that I think might be deletable, and give it a bit of time to see if any problems arise. Then I delete if nothing shows up.

I used TWRP to root and it was no problem.
Now I m back to 1.08 and try 8G scatter.
Try not to touch the power button or restarted the tablet.
If it happen again I just long press the power button until turn off again for several time.
I wake the tablet by opening the flip cover instead of power button.

Went to install supersu and twrp has locked the damn hardware again.
It has stuck on the message "Now send the package you want to apply to the device with adb sideload."
Until I can stop TWRP nothing can be done.

As this cube T9 is now surplus to requirements, if I can regain control of it, has anyone removed this revolting o/s and tried to replace it with a completely different?

CAMERA and ROM:

When purchased Camera was working perfectly fine. Few month back updated to old version of custom ROM so that I could get ext. keyboard working. It worked. Later found that CAMERA is not working, and IMEI not there. I restored to backkup file. IMEI is ok. CAMERA still not working. As I restore, Camera icon shows, when CAMERA opened says Gallery not responding/working.., after a while not even that, it opens camera app (no outside images only app and its black screen) and starts to give a message, "Can't connect to camera" . After trying to wipe, and do factory clean etc., even the Camera app vanishes..... When I try to restore to my backup of system again, again Camera App comes but similar messages appear.
I tried to use other Camera apps from google play but same issue with all when opened they can't connect to Camera
Kindly guide ?

What more do you suggest?
1. Should I root and apply latest custom rom again ?
2. What is the latest version of custom ROM available for Cube talk 9x in English otherwise (Lepi or anyone) ?
Please provide a link to this too!
3. Will flashing GAAPS make the Camera work ?
4 What else can be done ?

SUCCESS!

Finally managed to root this T9.

The GPS is working. Thanks to who ever mentioned using MT GPS.

SD Fix has allowed write access to the SD Card.

Two more questions.

Is it possible to use a micro sd card larger than 32GB for external storage?

What is the easiest way to move apps and all of their data to the external sd card?

Describe exactly what happens when you turn the T9 and the steps you've performed. Also: T9 goes into recovery? and in which recovery?
