For your information Teclast P98 4G that share the same MT8752 SoC is already available with android 5!

Other than that do you think that this update will be also available for cube talk 9x? (now cube talk 9x is on android 4.4, as T9)

Yes but only Teclast P98 4G revision A8H8 uses lollipop 5.0 since its commercialization. it was not an upgrade..
The other versions of the same tablet have not been updated and their unofficial update is very difficult.

I do not agree. The SoC is the same I'm almost sure that in the next future all other MT8752 will receive Android 5.0 update

It will be nice if somebody got this and will share it with me.

I did updates with Droid Tools, but i don't get access to the T9

As we are still far from creating an installer for recovery, (I hate to use SPFT if not for emergency case! And then with the advent of repartitioning us we must always remember to use the scatter right) I thought to overcome the problem and shorten time using a restore backup to be made by TWRP.
In fact it is as the software pre-installed on a series of identical machines using a system image appropriately created and since our tablet differs only by the partition NVRAM. (This partition will not be used in XnetfoX ROM)

Only requirement: TWRP Recovery installed
Take before a full backup of your ROM through TWRP (so if you do not like XnetfoX, you can restore your old ROM without losing anything)

Download the XnetfoX, extract the zip files on a microSD or a USB pendrive sure to have this structure: MicroSDRoot\TWRP\T9_MT8752\XnetfoX_eXtreme_13b108

Turn off your tablet
Insert the microSD or USB stick via OTG
Start in recovery mode
choose Restore
Tap on Select and select storage: MicroSD or USB-Otg
If you unzipped properly you read XnetfoX_eXtreme_13b108.
Tap above and you will see the selected components: Boot-Logo-Recovery-Uboot-System-Data
Take Swipe to restore
Restart the tablet

I Havnt received my Cube yet and was starting to think perhaps I had made a mistake buying it after reading all the problems with the Rrileyrom 1.0 but this quashes my fears thank you , So to install the TWRP do I just run the SP Flash Tool as per normal, un-tick all the other boxes apart from the recovery box, then replace that file with the win-image TWRP file that is included in the ROM download ?, What im a bit confused about is what is the scatter file for ?

Edit : No matter, I have sussed it now, when you choose the scatter file in the T9 TWRP 2840 rar file it automatically chooses the Win Image file. I do have one more queston though please, Is it ok to install the 1.8b custom Rom if the tablet has the earliest stock firmware on it ? Or would it be better to do an OTA update to the latest firmware then install the 1.8b custom rom ? Thank you again

I installed your ROM XnetfoX eXtreme 1.8 and is it okay, but one question, how can I set the loudness for the start ( power on ), can I adjust it quieter?
