Just tested on EC-MK808B+ and on release 5.0.8-20150610 the feature unified EC-MK808B+ builds with MK808B+ not working

On my EC-MK808B+ I cannot use internal wifi, only if I use external wifi dongle will I get wifi under wlan2.
If I don't connect external dongle, I see wlan0 and wlan1 that when I try to connect the wlanX disappear from OE menu system, only when reboot the will appear again. I see state: associate and then the don't appear anymore...

On 5.0.8-20150511 EC-MK808B+ release I could use internal wifi or external wifi.

What kind of log can I provide so you see what is wrong?

mac1202 It's supported in Linux kernel >=3.5 and since we're using 3.10 it should work. But at the moment I can't guarantee it'll work flawlessly since there are some issues when using other tuners and I need to look into that. I don't have a DVB-T antenna at home at the moment but that will change in a few days and I should be able to check it.

Mafarricos Please provide me with a result of dmesg and lsmod. Also make sure that you're using 5.0.8p15 as WiFi didn't work with previous test releases.

          As requested:
dmesg after turn on the EC-MK808B+ (connected with external dongle): http://pastebin.com/FirSghY2
dmesg after trying to connect with internal wifi (wlan2): http://pastebin.com/k9DvmB9h

          lsmod: http://pastebin.com/4YCitcE8

Hope this can help, I use external dongle to get better wifi so I can use the normal ROM, but for those that only use the internal wifi, will lose it with the merge of EC-MK with MK.

If you need more tests or logs you only have to tell me what you need.

          Thank you.

Thanks' a lot for your affords.

            ArikZ.
Kszaq, is there a status change in the effort to resolve the fix Ip on the lan interface of the HD18Q issue?

            Thanks' in advance,

Mafarricos Thank you for the logs. Can you please try running this test build, it has a slightly modified device tree to (maybe) satisfy WiFi power on driver requests: http://s805.eu/releases/test/5.0.8-ec-mk808b-test-1/

ArikZ I have found the reason - Connman gets the wrong MAC address for Ethernet interface - but I haven't developed a fix yet. Recently I have very little time to compile and test new versions since I'm very busy with my full-time job. Sorry for that and I hope I'll find more time to develop a fix soon.

                kszaq, thanks for fast response.
                But the 5.0.8-ec-mk808b-test-1 seems worst.

Turned on with external dongle connected dsmeg: http://pastebin.com/NxV0vrqT
                Didn't saw the internal wifi.

Rebooted without external dongle, no wifi, connected external dongle and saw internal wifi and also the dongle, tried to connect and wifi disapears, only external dongle works, dsmeg: http://pastebin.com/WnKbDEe3

                And the lsmod: http://pastebin.com/tRuXPDrC

Mafarricos Thank you for the test. Can you try another test build? Link posted below.

ArikZ I may have found a fix (ugly one) for ethernet interface configuration resetting. Please try if it works for you.

kszaq, with 5.0.8-20150623-test1 I get same results of previous test, still not working.

dmesg of boot with wifi dongle: http://pastebin.com/xVJTp4Nu
dmesg trying to connect internal wifi: http://pastebin.com/B0zBeE32 (it tries to connect and then the wlan1 or wlan2 disappear).

                    lsmod: http://pastebin.com/0WhfYhaj

                    Thanks for trying.
Don't know if this is helping to get the right setup

                      Thank you for MK808B+ support.

I noticed that bluetooth does not work. It did work on the very first pairing but after a reboot I see "Connected: Yes" but BT mouse does not work anymore. I use OpenELEC 5.0.8 (p15) 5.0.8-20150610 and Microsoft BT Notebook Mouse 5000. The mouse works OK on original Android firmware as well as official OpenELEC-Generic.i386-5.0.8 on a PC.

                      Any hope?

kszaq For your info, a cheap $10 **** special IT9135 DVB-T tuner works very well with a fresh install of OpenELEC 5.0.8 (p15) 5.0.8-20150610.

                        It is like http://www.****.com.au/itm/390705100...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

The antenna and remote are useless as expected, but the tuner is great with zero problems..

                        It's detected as a AF9033.

Thanks for that logs. Can you please show me your dmesg from the version where WiFi works?

Yes, there is a possibility that it'll work after disabling LPM parameter in Bluetooth firmware loading script. I'll post a test build for you later today.

5.0.8-20150623-test2 still gives the same result as previous test version (not working internal), log: http://pastebin.com/3XtXKeYB
Latest working internal wifi is OpenELEC-Amlogic.EC-MK808B.arm-5.0.8-20150511, here's the log of that version: http://pastebin.com/0VXgR1Te

Also I don't know is why I allways see 3 wlans (1 for external dongle and 2 for internal wifi).

Thanks for your test versions, let's see if in the next ones you get what is wrong
