bluesmanuk.... Hi , since a lot of people are talking about how great is mo123's 1.7 version is , but i faced the spdif passthrough issue with it ; just wondering why you are settled with version 1.6 ?
is it because it has the spdif passthrough issue fixed using mxplayer? and is there any huge difference in video color production and smoothness as compared to version 1.7 ?

That is a good question and one that I can't give a specific answer to off the top of my head.

I just recall that 1.6 with the OC kernel have me the best overall experience.

But the fact that I can't recall exactly means that i will now go and test 1.7 again to refresh my memory.

I've ubox 4k ... I tried to flash the rom, everything works fine except the remote control. the strange thing that the original remote one does not work while the remote control of the TV box MXQ UBox works perfectly on ubox . how can ? use the original remote control?

another question: I tried to downgrade to 2.0.9 but after the flash, first boot into recovery. shows the message can not find databk.cmline then reboot and black screen. some idea?

The remote driver is in the kernel, using a different kernel than your original box will make other remotes work but not the one you got with your box.
You have to do a full erase with the Lollipop image and then flash a KitKat ROM on the second tab of the flashtool otherwise you are going to get problems.

This is a brilliant rom, thank you, Wasser, your skills are enviable. I'm running RC1 on a Rikomagic V5, and it's super-quick and with stutter-free Kodi video. Really smooth, the best currently available for the V5. Two requests for the next release, please, to round off the perfect rom for this RK3288 device.

1. Implement full HDMI-CEC.
2. Make the PC Connect OFF switch persist after reboots. On the V5, you have to turn it off after each reboot in order to get a usb keyboard to work.

Is anyone getting Freezing with YouTube? When I play videos with Youtube, they stop ever 30sec or so for a second or two, even though the buffering has fully loaded. I seem to be getting it with every ROM on the Beelink R89?

Misunderstood the context of the answer.

When you upgrade your PC to windows 10 the RK drivers from your PC will be erase and the PC will not recognize any more your device. So you go from your PC and google it for the RK drivers asistent, you download and install that, after doing that you can flash your img. like on the old windows. Of course that you need to have install your upgrade tool to but in my case the upgrade proces from windows 7 ultimate to windows 10 the only soft that the upgrade proces erase was the rk driver asistant the rest of things like the flash tool or the old img. all that are on his place in my PC. Would be great if one could flash AP 6330 files to this rom to get wifi working on the RKM V5. The firmware itself works really well on that device, but no wifi.
