I find that 1080p Youtube can have stuttering but have found this to be the case with every ROM and box that I have tried.
I have also found that even when selecting 1080p, Youtube will switch to a much lower resolution for no reason.
OGYoutube works better but you will still find some micro stuttering at 1080p.
Youtube through Kodi works best but so far I have found 720p to be the max I can get.
However, the difference between 720p and 1080p seems so marginal that I don't care that much when 720p gives smoother playback.

I think that's what I've found also. Why would YouTube stutter? It's as if it loads so much then stops, then loads then stops, virtually unwatchable for me . It does happen on every ROM (I'm not moaning about Wassers great Rom) . Such a basic thing that this box struggles with :-(

I get stopping for a second or 2. Connecting to Ethernet seems to help. It's a strange thing.

Do you have a couple of examples as I can try then and see if it is replicated?

Just every 1080 YouTube video. Plays ok for around a min then stops for 2sec then plays for 30sec then stops for 2secs on and on. The buffer is way ahead so it's not loading, it's almost like there's a bottleneck in the CPU when on Wifi or something. It happens on MOs 1.7 Rom also with OCd kernel.

Just use the remote for sleep.

A single quick press of the power button should do it.

Is it possible to upgrade this firmware using the Settings -> About -> Check for updates? If not, is this feasible for the future?
