I was frustrated because my box stuck 203k4 firmware and it has a lots of problem (bad aspect ratio in kodi with the allwinner decoder, lags, unstable, etc.). Then we got 204k4, thanks for Zebraiono!
I flashed my beelink, then it updated itself to 205k4. And it looks like for me it isn't has real full hd UI, just like an upscaled 720p. And the preinstalled kodi also works only in 1280*720p. So without any other test i went back to 203k4 and the bugs. I'm not happy.
I think it's time to find another box (from another brand)...

As I found out, upgrade my BeeLink X2 using 204k4 from Zebraiono, it will automatically or online upgrade to 205K4. Or, online upgrade from factory installed firmware, it will do upgrade incrementally and eventually will get to 205K4. If you upgrade using the firmware from Trigtop, you cannot do online upgrade - it will say your firmware is the latest. I like the resolution using 203k4 firmware from Trigtop so I re-installed 203K4 from Trigtop.

The resolution is real 1080p? or is just 720p?

For me with 205k4 the resolution seems to be 720p on UI but when playing videos is 1080p

Yes, updated to 205K4 from 203K4(Trigtop).
In setting, I have it set to 1080P when it was 203K4. When power up with 205K4, my TV detected and said 1080P.

Hey everyone. I just got my Beelink X2 and works ok, but there is one huge issue. Sometimes, maybe on high duty my tv turns green and all the colours are like inverted. You can see it at the pictures. I'm not sure where it comes from. I changed the HDMI cord already, but still the same problem. I'm on the newest system version 205k4. Seems like there is no fix in it. I changed the resolution already and then it works fine until becomes green again. If you an idea of what to do, let me know. Does one of the custom roms fix the issue?
Thanks everyone. I have a philips tv.

I cannot tell any difference between 720P and 1080P on UI, but my TV detects the resolution setting and posts on the screen when I switch the setting and when my box is powered up.

you don't need to upgrade the firmware because you don't see anything on the screen . Just press the [1/a] button from the remote control,to change the resolution.
If you bought now the box, maybe it has the latest firmawer (205k4)

Trusting allwinner was your first mistake. Why after all the posts on how crappy this company is for providing support for thier chipsets do people still buy this crap. The manufacture cant fix what they cant get allwinner to correct. Worst company out there and proven worst support so avoid at all costs. If your able to RETURN IT.
Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.

I use the X2 only one thing: watch hd streams in Kodi (Exodus, Watch 1080p, etc ...). Because all decoders in kodi have problems (frame drops, aw-decoder has bad aspect ratio), I almost threw away the box. But then I had an idea. The X2 and Banana PI2 almost has the same hardware and the Banana Pi has Openelec... I found a guide which was about how to install Banana Raspbian on X2. But unfortunately I am not a Linux expert, so I could not do that. So I go back to android and tried Kodi alternatives (Vidon, Sbmc, ...), but none of them worked for me.
Finally I deleted 14.2 Kodi and tried the new 16 version, and now the enabled hardware accelerated Media Codec decoder has the ability to play full HD streams without frame drop. What a miracle!
