Could you please build his rom with AP6630 wifi .... i have tried the wifi fix but only get 2.4ghz which is very poor speeds ... and ethernet is not an option for me .... so PLEASE PLEASE Make this rom with AP6630 so i can have the 5ghz band back ...... Im sure alot of us would be very greatful

lonix because I have the green/pink problem I always need to go back to tronsmart original kernel file ( that you make me... )
when I tried to burn v8 ( 1 ,2 or 3 ) the box work but the green/pink problem return...
so I flash to original kernel. but with v8 the box wont load..... black screen
I needed to re-flash the firmware and erase the box...

there no fix for the green/pink with out the original kernel?

In case of flashing a kernel, is it necessary to flash it to the right position/segment in memory (using the Android tool) or will it 'land' automatically on the right spot?

Download the zip file and put it in /sdcard, boot into TWRP recovery and install the zip file, that's it. Works like a charm

You can flash these images but your rom probably wont boot, if you get the tronsmart logo, that's a good sign that it works.

As long as you assign them to the right partitions it will read the position from the device

Please try with android tool flash recovery.img from your stock rom.

Do this after flashing v7 rom

to extract this file, download stock rom for your device

Open android tool, goto advanced function tab
In the box marked firmware, load stock rom file.
Click unpack.

When finished

Goto download image tab

Unselect all boxes except recovery

Click the empty column with ... Three dots at the top on the recovery row. Select the recovery.img from the \output\Image directory.

If it is an img file then it is a full ROM. Use factory tool to flash.

Hi!

Great job with the v8 Zidoo custom ROM! However, I've detected a few issues after one day of use:

- Lock screen does not work, even though the "Lock screen on boot" was selected, and there is no way to force the lock screen anytime. This is a big problem when multiuser is activated,
- HDMI passthrough does not work so far. It neither worked with the official ROM. I have my Samsung TV connected to an Onkyo A/V receiver with HDMI ARC and I successfully play videos through DLNA from TV itself, so Dolby Digital and DTS are passed through HDMI to the receiver. But with my Tronsmart, sound is muted when I enable sound passthrough in ZDMC. I had previously set HDMI bitstream in Settings.

Any suggestions? I am using Google Now Launcher, in case it helps.

Please, someone with Tronsmart R68 Meta can try multiuser and audio passthrough options? Both did not work for me. When you have 2 users or more it's impossible lock screen appears even though you have set up a pin code or pattern. On the other hand, dolby digital or dts audio never passthrough to my TV although you have checked HDMI bitstream in Android Setup and audio passthrough on Kodi.
