The MicroSD card speeds are par for the course for this kind of box.

They don't support UHS speeds and so are essentially still stuck in the past.

According to Redskull@youtube review shows that TX5 pro orig. F/W speed is alot faster..

Someone is using an air mouse remote with this mod? I cannot use my MX3 Air Mouse (this one) since the pointer is always moving to the top of the screen...

I am using Mele F10 Deluxe and TK668 with no problem. Findout if it has the calibration function.

I have same remote and works fine. Now if i have my gamepad on at same time as the airmouse cursor it acts up.

Hi, After juggling with Tanix TX5 Pro and Mini M8S II, here are my findings;

1. Mini M8S II: BT does not work.
2. Both: pop-up confirmation panel in some apps are not clickable.
3. Both: some apps disappear in orath application screen, but reappear after removing Nova launcher.
4. Both: MicroSD card 32G(UHS-I or class 10 speed) read/write speed is slow as attached.
I didn't test it with orig F/W, so I am not sure if it's the same or not..

just replace files in folder bluetooth in " system\etc\bluetooth " Do not forget to change permission of files

This might be easier to understand ... using ES File Explorer app, "check" the file with a tick ☑ ... then at the bottom right of screen where it says "More" click the 3 vectical dots and select "Properties"

and from there, select the permissions you wish to apply

hint: to see what a permission looks like ... on your PC google eg. 644 permission ... then click "images"

Have you activated "Root Explorer" in ES File Explorer ? .... it's under "Tools"




Then tick (check) the file you want to change permissions .. then "More" and "Properties" and then finally "Permissions ... "Change"

Hi all

Firstly thank you very much to prahjister and the others on this thread that have contributed so much to a working rooted ROM and instructions for mildly incompetent users such as me!

I just loaded this onto my Mini M8S II and so far so good. Still need to test bluetooth and some other bits, but the main reason I wanted this was root, xposed etc and that's all up and running.

Unfortunately my amazon app, which was sort of working on the stock ROM is no longer working which is annoying and I was hoping that I could get my hotstar app to work but that is proving more tricky, still that is probably for the main forum and not a ROM specific issue.

If it's the Amazon Prime app then whilst you have root it will not work.

Worth Googling to see what fixes and workarounds that there might be out there.

I installed Amazon Video 3.0.63.245601 on my Mini M8S with this ROM and it runs well. Not at 2160P but does run. I'll play with this more and get back to you guys.
