LibreELEC 7.0 For S905/X (old)

I have an X96 S905X 2G/16G with Marshmallow. I'm curious to try LibreElec. When I run the USB Creator, what version do I choose? I'm creating the bootable USB drive on Win10 64bit. I'm confused about the version. There's options for Rasberry Pi Odroid, WeTek, and Slice. IDK what all that is. Any advice?

Could you tell me how to load this onto an SD card for my Nexbox a95x 2gb. I'm completely lost? I did have 8.01 on the sd card, I used the Libreelec sd creator for that, but I'm not getting any help on the Libreelec forum as to how to update to the latest version.
What file I need for my box and how to install it on the card, no help whatsoever.

On a SD Card place this (rename it to recovery.img) and this.

Place the SD Card into the box and while plugging in the power use a cocktail stick or something that fits into the AV port until you feel a click. Wait about 10secs and TWRP will load. All you need to do now is navigate to the ZIP file on the SD Card and install it.

I've tried it but it didn't work. Do I need to place the recovery.img inside the zip file or do I leave them separate on the sd card? Sorry for my incompetence, I was educated in Peckham lol

Ok, I've tried it both ways now, still doesn't work. It just goes to "no command" with a picture of a dead Android lol. And a list of stuff like "boot logs" and the like.

Sorted it, I downloaded this file and used the Libreelec sd creator to burn it to the sd card, job done. LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.0-8.0.2b.img.gz

Hi all.
Im new in LibreELEC.
Today i install LibreELEC on my OTT TV BOX X96 (On microSD Card).
Unfortunately not all buttons on my remote work now.

Not working:
- play, rew, ff, stop and couple other.

I know - i need remote.config - i must put that file into .config folder but i dont have correct file.
I try paste files from this topic (zip created by pinguy) but no luck.

In att. photo of my remote - maybe this help find solution.

Any ideas?

pinguy have you had any issues getting into recovery after your newest build? a95x with s905x 2/16 no dice. have not tried 2/8 yet. tried button and ssh command reboot recovery... nothing. oh and if i try to put the sd card in while its on, causes a reboot. weird stuff.

Yeah that is my bad for not fully testing. I put in a untested dtb.img and it broke the reset button. To fix grab the latest tree from here and place it into the 'update' folder via FTP.

thanks for the fast reply. also, have tested retro and bt gamepads on 8x builds yet. work keeps me so busy that i really havent gotten a chance to mess with it
