Im using external keyboard with mouse wireless, on language page, mouse can be used, after 3 second and then hank. Try with logitec wireless mouse still the same..

Tried new version and wifi working on V96. Replaced remote.conf. Device still freezes after some time. Guess not for me. Removed sd card as you suggested, same result. Thanks non the less. Bless.

So send me your device, 'cause as you can see here or on Xda none reported freezing , if you can provide me a logcat during the freeze i can see if something is related to rom. But I never got a single freeze in 6 month... i'm pretty sure it's not a rom problem.

Probably just the box itself .... they build cheaper boxes like crap .. it probably has no heat sinks at all and just overheats

Tanix TX5 Pro, rom version 2.7bis, no SD card, 2 hard drives 2.5', Xiaomi portable mouse, no modifications, my report :
- new boot logo : OK
- SU asked to be updated, made : OK
- blutooth : OK
- WIFI (chip 6255) : OK
- directory remote in system/media : OK
- remote can shut down the box, but can not wake it again : need to AC off/on
- when box shut down, the hard drives are not shut down : need AC off.
- netflix : NO, says "not compatible"
- smpc : passthrough OK but DTS does not work : need to activate Dolby translation, DTS appears as Dolby to my home cinema and works perfectly.
- dark scenes : OK

Thanks for the report the important and unexpected part is Netflix "not compatible" mine works... i have to revert the fix? can someone else confirm this issue?
About on/off i can do nothing it's a bootloader problem and the fix i thought works random so i give up for now.
About hdd power dunno mine poweroff correctly, but someone reported same behaviour.
About Su update, i know i prefer the user update to avoid problems.

There is no difference it's just a version fix for a problem on some device. And for the second time if i fix your bluetooth all the other bt devices will be disabled so i can't do nothing more than trying to help you to solve in other ways.

After the netflix update my fix stopped to work and can cause a problem if you got problem like "unsupported device":
FIX:
open Totalcommander
go to /system/vendor/lib/mediadrm
rename libwvdrmengine.xo in libwvdrmengine.so
reboot

Obviuously then you should edit build.prop bootvideo=0

I apologize but it's not totally my fault but i'm wise enough to left a way to unfix the fix : D
