After uninstalling FTMC and re-installing with the actual KODI you get a green screen until you unplug and reboot. Is there a solution for this?

Hi, is twrp included when you flash this, if not, what's best way to get it on the device to install firmware?

Edit: Okay found my usb male to male, but where is the recovery button for t95k, is it hidden in the av port like some s905x???

Its controled by the bootloader, reflash the stock bootloader and you should be ok!
(you need to make a update.zip with only the bootloader and signed, search the forum on how to do it)

I looked around but unfortunately for me i didn't found anything for bootloader
i have extracted from my stock firmware the bootloader.PARTITION and rename it to .img
i found the tools but i don't know what to write in the updater-script for such a file
i found example scripts for system for apk but nothing for for these files .img
i'm totaly Noob with scripts!
i'm wondering if i could flash this bootloader.img via TWRP and have successfull results?
the TWRP for nexbox a1 abdul_pt made ,partially working with this firmware of yours and it would be nice if i know that i can flash it with this way!
so if you want, a help or guidance would be appreciated !

I'm running Kodi 17 and did not experience any issues migrating from FTMC. Kodi 17 works perfectly on the T95U with IpVanish AFAIK.

Strange.. I tested the same procedure on two boxes and had the same result. It was Kodi 16.1 though and not v17.

In Second place i want to express my sincere gratitude to this forum, specially for the developers of firmware.
Here we can have a place to share our experiences with Sunvell T95Z.

I received my my Sunvell T95Z today and of course i played for several hours with it.
My goal is to achieve dolby atmos passtrougt to my Samsung soundbar atmos HW-K950.

The best i achieved was passtrought in 5.1 channels with kody 17 specially modified "kodi-20170108-03d5d89-shitty-armeabi-v7a.apk"
In movies with 7.1 channel, passtrought is just passing noise to my atmos soundbar.

Before proceed to test this great Superceleron firmware i want to know if it´s technically to do it with this Sunvell T95Z box and if anybody already did it? (Dolby ATmos passtrought) ?
To finalize, i just want ask how to do a full backup of current stock ROM i have on it..

About dolby atmos sorry m8 its not going to happen in this boxes(missing licences )
Backup the stock rom? why you have the stock img to download so no need to backup that one... but if you insist i can only remember titanium backup!

maybe i´m wrong but think there is no need to have licenses on media player, as the media player is just passing the audio to av player (on my case the sound bar)..
The licence is inside soundbar or no?

I can make make atmos passtrought from from my laptop. on that case who paid the license?

You or your pc builder, its in windows/sound card/motherboard etc etc
Android is a very different story, in sound you need a "special" chip with the licences... let say "S905x-H" or "S912-H", what this means its the same chip you have on this box but it uses a "special" version of the sdk that have all the licences you need!
About the brands that have that.. you have Nvidia Shield, Minix, Wetek and i think the new Xiaomi tv box also does that, i cant remember other!

I accept it, but it´s a little dificult to understand because my Toshiba laptop is 3-4 years old, and at that time there was no dolby atmos.
i dont think that toshiba bought it and give it to my for free.. anyway it works on toshiba, but only with MPC-H64 media player

Yes me! I hate the Kodi 16 interface and I run Kodi 17 on several other devices, Android and Windows. Beats me why anyone sticks with v16.

On my setup, HDMI via Denon AVR, Kodi streams movies and TV perfectly from Exodus, which is pretty much all I use Kodi for.
