Recently , i installed shadowgun and it downloaded 200mb data, i connect my xbox360 controller made, mapping and played well, it was like a console,
but after 1-2 days , i started shadowgun and it starts all over , re-downloaded data etc.
will it do it everytime or am i doing something wrong?

Re: K-R42 Hybrid Firmware (HFW) 1.1.0 by lewy20041

What is the hybrid part of this rom, is that just a naming scheme or does it relate to something?

I look forward to testing this on my CX919 (Monday), does anyone have any kernels with success stories? MK908 is supposed to be the same but it hasn't worked for me so far. Black screen when booting.

          Thanks in advance!

I hope everything goes well with the SDK 2 rom. I'll check that out too.

          Signature? Signature!

lewy20041,If everything in this new firmware all will be stable as 1.2.0, and the speed will be like 1.2.2 , then it will be the best firmware,
PS .I personally absolutely love 1.2.0, the only INTERFACE little bit slow and antutu 14,000 balls, people here write: 1.2.2 to speed up and 18,000 balls in antutu,if you get two in one (1.2.0 and 1.2.2), it will be very cool

                    hybrid in my firmwares mean:
that many difrent parts of difrent firmwares are combined in to one.
to get the best of all;p

                      Just keep going on!

I would like to ask from you, Is there any option, and how far it be in developing, to be an 5.1 or raw audio source in the SPDIF section?

                      Forethanx: Kalk

Flashed my k-r42 last night. mx player 1080p is flawless from smb share

I went with lewy 1.2.0 stable and I am very impressed. This box is good I can see much more potential than my mk808b

I installed xbmc using the mini x link a few posts back but 1080p is not good. I am running 1080p kernel but I dont see the hw accelleration (libstagefrige) option in xbmc video settings - any reason why? Should I use advancedsettings.xml for this option to become available? The video was poor.

keep up the good work and a donation will be coming your way very soon.

also I cant get any dvd iso files to play in xbmc either. I think that is an xbmc issue though.
                        DEVICE: K-r42 from geekbuying
OUT: 50 inch lg plasma and 42 inch lg lcd.

Personally I will strongly recommend trying the 1.2.2 it works so much better on my box. The 1.2.0 had several slowdowns and fc's here where the 1.2.2 is a lot more solid and seems to be a lot better at playing back video. I'm using the 720p kernel as I use the box with my 26" bedroom TV. Almost too bad as the picture is also great on my 42" livingroom plasma

                            Hello everyone,
I have fixed the IR remote for both K-R42 and UT1.

Here is the fixed IR driver for wasser to merge into his kernel source. just override the exist one.

And here is the keymap config file for lewy20041 to merge into his system img.

Every button works well in my test kernel. Enjoy it.

                              I couldn't edit install-recovery.sh

but you need to use 1 module
                              its not in the package
its only need if you have autorization on your nas etc
                              and its caled md4.ko
i will ask leo to compile it wen he find some free time.

you can mount your share at startup
by putting this line into /etc/install-recovery.sh
                              Code:
                              mkdir /mnt/Volume_1
                              mkdir /mnt/Volume_2
                              busybox sleep 80
                              busybox mount -t cifs //192.168.1.102/volume_1 /mnt/Volume_1 -o user=yourusername,pass=password
                              busybox mount -t cifs //192.168.1.102/volume_2 /mnt/Volume_2 -o user=yourusername,pass=password
remember about permision after changes it should be "rwx --- ---"
I could connect k-r42 via ssh to my pc, but I couldn't modify permissions, create new files, edit install-recovery.sh.., etc. Could someone help me? Thanks!

                                T-R42/MK888B (with bluetooth)

                                Hello, gens.

I started a neighboring topic http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...with-bluetooth with questions about similar model with bluetooth - T-R42/MK888B.

I am very grateful if you reply in my thread.
                                Thank you.
