But smartest and easiest thing to do is to politely ask wasser to make changes to his kernel source and compile one more time for as all.

But i am upload to box and test today build of 1080 kernel & don't have full success
From one hand, in Settings - Screen menu i see 2 new options - 1920x1080x50 and 1920x1080x60, it's good progress!
But from another hand, when i try to enable them, image resolution become looks like 1920x1080 with heavy horizontal distorsion and has some random yellow stripes and dots. And the most terrible thing - that my screen begin to blinking, image appears and disappears about once in 3-4 seconds. After some seconds, system automatically restores previous 720p resolution & image looks well but not HD
This reproduce in both 50 and 60Hz modes, and with monitor i haven't option for 24Hz in screen settings.

If it can give your some help, my monitor is Philips Brilliance 240PW. If i can provide your more helpful informaton, please, tell me & i will try to do it.


By the way, today i have test you new kernel not only with 16:10 monitor, but with 16:9 HD TV too, and with TV a have no problem, there are three options for 1920x1080 in Settings - Screen, they are 24, 50 & 60 Hz, and all of them works well!

i cannot reproduce this proble with my k-r42 box. Can someone also see this issue ?

I had an issue with lots of noise on 1080p. It ended up being an issue with the provided HDMI cable. It was brand new and total garbage... replace it to make sure.

No, the reason of HDMI noise, in my case, not in cable.
I testind 1080p on monitor and on tv with the same cable, (and it was a cable from that i get from china with Device, in the same box)
With TV i don't have any noise with all 1080p modes, up to 60hz, but with monitor i have noisy image in all 1080p modes.

With 1.20 final 1080p version is fine. Also setting your last 1080 p kernel to 720 img is fine.

Hello

got Jesurun DX05 with rom 1.2.2 and wasser kernel 09.09

Dont have installed module, not sure this is necessary

Not tested everything but provided remote doesnt run under this config, I use mele F10 instead.

Video 1080p/24 works great with 720p movies, some lag on 1080p but I have to make test with video on SD to be sure this is not a network problem.

Yes issues with LAN network, sometimes doesnot get IP via DHCP, wifi seams OK.

The power off button doesnt display menu to choose reboot or power-off, this button poweroff only.

Cant use plex with directplay, did any one solve the 4.2.2 ffmepg issue with plex ?

It's not a cable.

My issue stemmed from the same new cable. On my TV it worked, but when connected through my receiver it didn't properly.

Try a different cable to be sure.

Error is flashing Rom, Flashing process interrupted and it show "<Layer 6-5> Download Boot Failed"
