for the second run. the dts worked well. serious.
but from a sleep mode i cannot come back to use the box with fully functon.
the mouse never find. after re attach the receiver it did not do anything.

exactly the "come back" was a hard work.
while it was in sleep the main power button didn't react for any push.
for a little time left alone, and some pushes of the button, got back the box to work.

with the detach of the adapter repeaired it. reboot. started over.
the nand flash unmount it self. I remounted it.

exactly the start procedure is serious too. some time its freeze at your logo Levy, ans i must re attach the power plug to start it over.

hehe. meanwhile i wrote this i played a video continously on it.
i turned over to the TV and wohha, the sound runs continously but the picture freezed 5 minites long before.

my usb drive worked with the apk.installer application.

So far 2.0 blows away previous releases. I'm streaming an atsc dvb ota broadcast in 1080 mpeg-2 with no stuttering, I am using software decoding in MX player pro with ffmpeg codec v 1.7.19. Gonna try a H264 stream next with hardware decoding... Great work lewy!!!! I am impressed!

This ROM is simply fantastic!! Fast and almost bugs free. Most features tested are working fine so far except for my Remote that comes with the set not working. It's really fast. Good news is my air-mouse is working fine.

Look forward to your release of v2.0 1080p firmware soon.

Hi,
just flashed my cs918, great firmware, everything works very fast!
When i didn't have these sound problem, with the Xbmc alpha 7 build my Cs918 is
nearly perfect

The only thing where i have found problems is the sound.

DTS will not work, i get only noise from my receiver, and
there is an new sound problem. when i play a video, every 1-2 minutes i get a
"click" noise and the sound ist muted for about 2 seconds. On my receiver the
sound input display changes to "nothing" and comes direct back to the old stage.
Normally this happens only when the sound input changes from stereo to ac3, Dts ore
something else. So i think the CS918 send an unreadable signal every "x" minutes?

Very bad news I'm afraid, I flashed the new 2.0 720p and it booted fine but then after I clicked OK on the first screen and scrolled once on the desktop, the interface froze and then the device powered off.

I have USB audio output.
I did not try without the usb audio output, but I am re-flashing it and will try without USB audio output to see if it still freezes.

Installed yesterday, flash is ok, boots start with droid logo and with formating status.

Then the screen turn to black with no boot animation.

I have tried severals time but nothing helps.

what is the kernel included ?

2.0 720p testing

Hi again,
I flashed again, booted with no audio cables plugged in, the device rebooted itself after a few seconds.

I then tried SPIDF cable.
The audio crackles badly when you click the interface, navigate... those fine grained static sounding crackles.
I then unplugged SPDIF and tried USB audio again, that was clean and the system did not power off again.

I am now doing a titanium backup restore and will then try audio apps and xbmc.

Is there a way to debug what's happening, a tool with some kind of ADB command ?

After several tries I got a screen with a sick android bot with a red warning triangle and a menu asking me to use volume up/down like on a smart phone.
I can do nothing has there are no physical buttons.

After restoring apps, all good so far though

Remote control doesn’t work at all
Audio sync on xbmc out, audio lags video (same as other roms)
Spotify still has blank spots in playback

New power menu looks good, haven't tried it yet
Didn't test play music malfunction as my all access account trial ended.
General responsiveness seems to have improved.

K-R42 bought here in Thailand.
Using WiFi, Wireless Mouse/Keyboard (English/Thai), IR remote control
HDMI to Toshiba 720p TV, AV-out to Stereo

Second boot successful.
Did minor setting changes and rebooted to test.
Installed the RK software APKs, GooglePlay apps. No issues.
Loaded Droid VNC Server and WiFi ADB for remote configuration
Android RkRemoteControl functioning fine.
Reboot to test
> Rom on startup displayed weird aspect ratio, then self corrected. Booted OK
ADB push CWM, hopefully it will stay this time.
CWM backup to /external_sd/ completed. Used RkExplorer to copy to smb shared laptop folder (just in case)

Working great. Been streaming video via TV Thailand app for a couple of hours now. Both GoogleTV and Android YouTube apps working OK.

How do I use the micro sd in these roms? it is recognized but is not accessible to apps example emulators try to get the roms / isos in micro sd and it is not accessible? please help.

you need to edit vold.fstab in /etc/ folder.
swich flash with sdcard.
im not sure if it will work for allready installed firmware but it sure work if you makeing a rom and flasit it
