i have problems with systemui.apk (systembar)
this firmware have hardcoded it in hiden state, but im working on it.
some people will probably complain about auto hide system bar as its hard to implement.
minix firmwares have it by default thats why it esier to work with their firmwares.
Everything is possible if we work together!

Hi there and thanks for the rom.

I have had my device for about 3 days and finally got around to testing your 2.04 rom today and it has been going well except for one or two random reboots.

I noticed when coming from the stock rom that the "next track" and "previous track" wasn't working any more on the remote and when I checked others I seen that the four colored buttons were doing nothing and the bottom left button wasn't working either.

        I am using this remote.

If anyone else has the same problem I edited the rkxx-remotectl.kl file in system/usr/keylayout to fix most of the buttons.

Here is the edited file that I am using. http://flumpster.lolcakes.com/android/rkxx-remotectl.kl.

I would rename your original one to rkxx-remotectl.old in case you want to revert.

The "next track" and "previous track" buttons now work for me. The bottom left button (1/A/a) now does space like it used to on stock.

The blue and the yellow buttons can not be reprogrammed at all with this rom but I set the red button to "Play/Pause" and the green button to "Stop".

Hope it helps someone else out and if it has been posted before I apologize, I am new to these forums but have my own rom on XDA.

        Thanks again for the rom.

Thanks for sharing. I think your choices are quite good. I was going to point out that flaw but it taked me too long time.

As for yellow and blue buttons it is quite strange but without proper config these are "invisible" to system. Add lines below to your rkxx-remote.kl config file:
              key 400 EXPLORER
              key 401 APP_SWITCH

Cheers mate. I thought I tried 400 and 401 and they never done anything but I will try it again today.

Another problem I have found is if I send the machine to sleep the remote will wake it back up and still work but my wireless mouse doesn't any more until I restart it.

                  Any ideas on that?

You wrote "after exit from sleep" but you didn't specify if it was initiated by you or rather "spontaneous". In my experience it is the second case when after about 10 second of "sleep" device will wake up. It is rather known problem with inability to send USB Hub into suspend state. And BOX shouldn't "hang" but all input device on USB wouldn't work anymore. Even disconnecting and connecting from USB doesn't help. Only remote control should be working.

Hi Flumpster, great work with the remote. A small suggestion - I think it would make more sense to most people if you switched the red and green around so red mapped to Stop (unless there is a reason I'm missing)

                              cheers

                                TIA
