I just notice that this rom 3.2 have an issue in last XBMC Nightly when I try Looking a Mp2 dvb Chanel with tvheadend. MP4 is working fine. The same xbmc nighly work correctly on my android cell phone.

Should I do a specific change to allow using MP2 dvb signal on my K-R42 ?

Hello guys - what to do about device descriptor request failed

Hi all here... it's been a while, happy xmas and NY to you all.

I cant get my device recognised by windows anymore. I am now on win 8.1 and have tried the updated RK drivers 3.7, tried uninstalling and reinstalling them, updating them etc... but keep on getting device descriptor request failed.

What can I do? I have not tried a new rom for months and want to try 3.2 out.

You have to disable the usb root hub where device is connected in power tab. It worked for me.

But only RKBatchtool works, RKdeveloptool and RKAndroidtool(Finless Tool) does not work.

Hi, yep I did that, and also edited the inf file to change that one value to TRUE. But no joy...

Bluetooth driver and method for to install it into K-R42... ???

Do you know where we can found the last bluetooth driver for K-R42 or better option, maybe can you post a direct link ?

Do you know what type of chipset (on the USB BT dongle) is recognized or compatible with this driver ?

And last, do you have a simple and detailled method if possible for to install it on the Android system please ???

Genrally we only need BT driver (and a dobgle) to get BT on KR42 working.

But we wou;d have to wrote a driver for dongle's chip or find dongle based on T-R42 chip.

Rock drivers was already installed on my win8.1 so I only needed to force installation of intel USB ones and it works !

Hey

Did anyone managed to get FIFA 14 working with xbox gamepad on this rom?
I see people playing FIFA on their devices and this rom has good keymap of Xbox gamepad built in, but I can make FIFA recognize it.

I managed to install this software on my K-R42 wchich likes only 1.20 BOOT ver (also i found that does not touch boot.img!)

I will make toturial how to make every rom working on every device :P


Maybe also I will create program for it or something... :P

I will start writing it but first i have to make two things:

1. Get Xbox Wireless gamepad working on lewy's 3.2F ROM with FIFA 14.
2. Collect all K-R42' PCBs photos, and their experience with ROMs flashing on their devices

With second point you can send me a PM

It will be highly appreciated with proper credits when i will write it.

And coming back to first point.. anyone can play FIFA 14 with xbox controller?

Or anyone maybe at least got it to work with RKgamecontrol?

I tried V 3.2.

Every thing is stable . Performance is very good.

I found only one thing . Screen mirroring is not working. I tried wassher V 1.2.4 also nat working.

Wifi direct is working and coonnecting.

Why I neet this . Because I want to watch Samsung Cimema apk. I instaled apk but can't watching video. Maybe spoof I 9300 not working properly.
