Without local admin rights you can't even install the mandatory needed USB driver. So no Flash tool like RKBatchTool or AndroidTool, to flash a full image, can be used.

So the additinal Zidoo Kernel I offer is only an additional non mandotory option.
And any of those additional kernel & resource file I offer, must be flashed always after you flashed the full rom.

let's assume that i have the FactoryTool_v1.39 up and running
- i did already flash my box with other imgs .. and it worked
- so i assume the "needed" drivers are somehow installed (since the FactoryTool_v1.39 has the rockusb drivers included)

so.. i falsh now then with the factory tool first V2.5 BRE ROM .. and then just the zidoo_x6pro_kernel.img "over" the rom?
will this work with FactoryTool_v1.39? or is the FactoryTool_v1.39 not versatile enough to do so? (meaning: i will need somehow to get the android tool 2.3 running.. somehow..)

I think you do not read carefully. Anyhow. I do not know that Zidoo FactoryTool and at the moment I do not have a Windows system to test it. Only a MAC and a Linux system. And in my main instruction to flash my ROM I use the RKBatch Tool. Not the AndroidTool. And here I describe, that you can also flash the kernel & resource files also with TWRP. So install my V2.5 BRE ROM with your Zidoo Factory tool, Boot it at least once, so that my TWRP recovery will be also installed (will happen during first boot). Then start TWRP as desribed here and flash the Zidoo kernel if needed.

Can you please check also the speed of your eMMC and RAM with A1 SD Bench.

These are my results for the accurate test with reboot. The default test ends for me always in a cache (RAM) hit. So the result of the default test without a reboot is always wrong.


Internal memory (eMMC)
Read 85.33MB/s - Write 19.25 MB/s

RAM
RAM copy 2832.40 MB/s




To activate a comparable test you must long press on "Internal memory" then select "Accurate - with reboot"
Then start part 1 of the test (write), reboot the box and start a1 SD bench again to start part 2 (read).

Read 52.66 MB/s - Write 20.39 MB/s

RAM
RAM copy 2413.35 MB/s


I don't know why but in the atv play store I can't find anything when I use the search box. I have to search it in chrome and then use the install button to open the play store. With antutu the same

- Download Firmware 2.5 of cOOLio
- Use RKBatchTool to flash Z4_RK3368-android_TV(ATV)-by_cOOLio-V2.5_BRE.img to my X6

Then testing:
- Wifi work
- IR remote just work with some button
- Connected with Android TV Remote: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...roid.tv.remote but can not using voice search on this app

What kind of USB mic do you use for voice input?
I use one of these and it works perfect to me ( up to 2-3 m distance to the box): https://www.amazon.com/Super-Microph.../dp/B00M3UJ42A

But you can use any USB mic, even a build in mic of any USB web cam. With the build in mic of my LOGITECH HD Pro C920 web cam, the range goes up to 5-6m.

Fistly, I was flash firmware V2.5 by RKBatchtool to my X6. Testing, wifi work, remote just work with some buttom, some not work - like "OK" button. Then I was flash your resource + kernel for X6 by TWRP then test remote again but no change. Do I need do anything else with key layout?

Don't know, you have to test this own your own. And even if Ugoos didn't say it, but it's only a test release and in addition a non ATV ROM. But they add some nice function to see all the error logs in an easy way. Nice one for users who do not know how to use adb. But I have no time to join a Ugoos beta test. So a lot of reasons why I'm not interested at all in this build.

That's exactly what I thought as you mentioned that your Yuntab Z4 box has the board revision XT-Z4-V12 (20160222) withSamsung eMMC KLMAG4FE4B-B002 and Hynix RAM H5TC4G63AFR. Those parts are not only cheaper in price for the factory, they are also slower. Now you got the reason why your AnTuTu Overall score is lower than mine.

Can't find anything? Are your sure about anything? Because I think U try to search for non ATV apps, on the ATV only Google Play Store. Use instead the Aptoide TV app. This will show you also non ATV apps.

Tested it right now also with my box. Same issue. Reason? Don't now 100%! But it looks like that the original Ugoos rom has not all Bluetooth profiles added to its Stack/HAL. Because even when I connect my BT Headset, voice input does not work. When I found some time, I will try to fix it.

one comment: the path to where the keylayout is located is wrong: it is in usr/keylayout
