If it's in the kernel and not the ramdisk + dtb then we are out of luck. the boot.img he has is for the other WiFi as well so it would brake our WiFi and BT


Maybe the .dtb we need to change is still also part of the boot.img like talked about here, i just though it was its own thing now as it has its own .img in nougat firmware

Give this guide a try with our boot.img and let me know if you get a .dtb/dts from it

i cant remember .... i actually used a h96 pro plus rom and used your atv conversion without the kernel tweaks u added otherwise it freezes and reboots ... ... i did flash the kernel on the gt1 rom and added remote and it did work until i rebooted it .. now it wont work ... so it cant be just kernel has to be something in system as well ... so complicated .... but if you can base your rom off the h96 pro + it would be amazing to add remote.conf and also it will work on gt1 as well so makes it kinda universal

if you used stock h96 pro plus firmware with the pach on other page it wouldn't work as its for beelink bootloader etc.. it needs tested with beelink burn images (unless its identical firmware)

I'm also surprised this ATV patch has booted over that firmware as it includes framwork-res.apk you must of been lucky and both have identical public.xml
if you link me to h96 pro plus firmware i will look into it, I'm currently downloading this not sure if its same?

Vorke z6 update just before Christmas aka "all in one firmware" might do something based on it, wonder if it fixed BT stutter

will try the Z6 f/w
on the ultimate i am running one of magendanz builds so will be using twrp to install the sd zip.
previously in twrp i have gone with the 'wipe data, cache and dalvik' but was left with a previous kodi build which i did not want.
so in 'advance wipe' i have other options of 'system' and 'internal storage' as well as the above [obviously not including 'micro sd card']
so what would i tick in advance wipe ?
sorry for the newbie questions.
