Hello everyone!!

I've installed the V8 over the Official 705 to my Beelink GT1 Ultimate (AX12) and its perfect!! I absolutely love it!! The work that tillaz87 have done to this rom is absolutely mindblowing!! I can't wait for V9 and the bug fixes that it will bring (and new features..)

I want to ask a question about the new AndroidTV launcher that google revamped with the Oreo update, is there a way you can port it to your rom?

That's the best DRM supported box i have seen come out of china with amlogic Soc.. the S905X lets it down though

Also looks pre-release, since amlogic have the 8.0 sdk ready to drop you will see loads of new boxes for sale in the next month. when we have something. i will look into it
But we don't even have proper arm based Gapps yet so..

Flash 707 burn package with Amlogic USB Burning Tool v2.0.8 or BootcardMaker v2.0.0.2

I have already tried what you suggest -
because of twrp i can no longer get my laptop to connect to my box through usb-burning-tool, have tried numerous times.
using burncardmaker to prepare the 707 image file on the sd card, this gives me 3 files - .ini + .uboot + .img
install sd card and reboot to recovery [twrp]
after 'wipe' go to 'install'
'select ZIP from micro sdcard'
obviously i have no zip file to install
am i missing something mate ?

You need to somehow flash 707 stock image then the patch zip is in the link on first post (click archive)

WARNING: V8+ IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH V7 YOU MUST RE-FLASH STOCK 7.1.2 FIRST (HERE IS THE V8 ~> ARCHIVE)

1. Download the 3 files from the archive above and copy them to the root of Internal Storage (Outside of all folders) Not Micro SDcard!
2. Install the terminal.apk or download one from the market
3. Open the terminal app and type the commands below pressing enter after each

FINALLY!!! got all the buttons on GT1 remote registering on vorke z6 firmware. had to make custom remote.conf.. next hack up services.jar to make them actually function.

What error is burn tool giving you?
try plug in the power and USB at same time, laptop wont have enough to power it

tried it all mate, burn tool just doesn't see it, with power and without, different usb ports, press start before plugging in the box, used the cable numerous times and it is ok, pressing the reset button just initiates twrp.
have a few boxes so used the burn tool quite a few times so know how picky it can be.

twrp is looking for a zip file.
after running bootcardmaker i have only .img + .uboot + .ini on the sd card.
is there any software i could use to convert the image file to a zip that would install through twrp ?

flash stock recovery then try

put this script and recovery on internal storage, open terminal app

It is better to put the V8 on top of the 705 or better the 707
