[ROM] Android TV (7.1.2) Beelink GT1 (Multi 6255 & 9377 Standard+Ultimate)

Hi Tillaz,

I use your rom for a while.

On the V4, V5 ou V6, when the box an TV what off for a while,
when I wanted to start the devices, I used the OK button which powered On the box and the TV.
I think the box powered on the TV from the HDMI port.


Since I updated, maybe V8 and after various V10, it doesn't run anymore, I mean, I must use the official TV remote control just to power on the TV as it doesn't react animore to the Rii mini i25 that power on only the box.

I tried last week the Alvatech rom to try Android standard rom.

I beleived I couldn't start the TV from the Box due to Beelink update but with Alvatech rom, it run again.

Do you have an idea how to bring back this function on your rom ?

Turn it on from hdmi CEC settings or input settings can't remember the name exactly not looked at this in ages

this is android TV so the build.prop stuff needs to be for TV device or others stuff is messed up.

try this.. Flash in recovery Patch1.zip Wipe data factory reset after flashing.. best way

I added the last two parts it was missing from MI BOX build.prop, reason it was not originally included was because it was continuously downloading the beta update in background for that device then failing. This now uses info from no beta so hopefully the above dose not happen.

No, this box wont ever have widevine L1 or Google certification for that you need to buy another box like a mi cool that has widevine L1.

Has anyone tried different roms? I can conclude that V10.6 and V10.7 both give black screen on 4k, and limits the refresh rate to 30Hz when selecting 2160p in SPMC, FTMC and CEMC

I just flashato the rom 10.7 is applied to your patch: the problems remain USB camera not fixed I reboot the box with Wi-Fi that no longer works. 4k resolution with Kodi, spmc black screen , I am forced to lower the resolution to 1080 60p and it shows well.

That must be something with the apps or even your TV as 4k@60hz works fine on my Samsung TV and Phillips TV using Kodi / YouTube / Mx player

Yes the real amount of ram will just show (2GB)

4k@60Hz works fine for me too on kodi, Mx player and VLC, but the problem lies with all the media centres using AMCODEC like SPMC, FTMC and CEMC
On stock firmware it works 4k@60HZ
On this FW it limits the refresh rate to 30Hz when I try to set it.
The problem was the stuttering of kodi most firmwares, but I installed MyGica MC 17.1 which works almost perfect. Just minor stutters.
I'm not complaining at all, as I do LOVE your ROM. Just stating a problem.

Just to add... Kodi performance is much better on your ROM then any other Rom that I have tested to date.

No worries, I know your not complaining. I'm just going off the top of my head as I no longer use the box anymore.

With Kodi you need to enable amcodec from Kodi settings but I can't remember exactly how as I moved away from using it long ago, should be the same for the forks.

Press it again and the box is on and in SPMC
When I check the output resolution, it is on 720p@60Hz
When I change the output resolution to 4k I get a black screen again.
sleep cycle again and it asks me to save settings - yes.
with 4k it limits refresh rate to 30Hz.
Again it is not an HDMI problem as I get 4k@60Hz on other Roms.

Try changing the colour space settings to 420 8bit or RGB in display settings in Android.

This ROM has colour space settings unlike beelink based rom it might be that all I can think of. If I get time I will test with those apps on weekend
