    Hi,

I try to connect my PS3 Controller with sixasis controller but the android box could not found the ps3 controller. I pair the ps3 controller with the right bluetooth connection.
Do you have try to connect a PS3 command?

    Thanks in advance

      Thanks for the reply Magendanz.

I found another problem that some other users also have. Kodi doesn't recognize external USB devices. Any solution to that?

Yes, if you look back in the discussion you'll see the fix. Just set persist.fw.force_adoptable=true in the build.prop.

      Hi to all
i need little help about my new toy, beelink gt1 ultimate (only disappointment is 1.5ghz cores, instead of 2ghz)

s/n is g912xxxx based, rom inside is official stock gt1_313m0, recovery is standard one, stock recovery
i want to upgrade rom to this one, tvstock nexus rom from magendanz (nougat one)
but need some confirmations to avoid brick my device..

can i use ota update to upgrade in stock recovery from mm to nougat, or microsd/usb is only options?
what one is better/more secure? what about options (i'm afraid of "erase bootloader")

how and why some ppl got brick,, human factor/mistake or device?

      tnx, anyway

        Hi Magendanz,

I burn this firmware in the Yoka TV KB2 Pro (Vorke Z1) and there is no WiFi or BT. I think it is a lack of the correct drivers. There is a solution?

Yes, it looks like the Z1 doesn't use one of the supported wireless chipset. (It's got a bunch, but not all.) You'll need to swap the kernel, update the init.rc, and add the drivers ... or just mod the OEM firmware for the Z1 directly. It's a real PITA, and not something you can do without the hardware.

        Hello,

        I have 3 issues.
        Below my configuration and issue:

        Tanix TX8 - Amlogic S912

        1) When the box finish his booting, she will show a popup with the following message : "Bluetooth Remote has stopped"
        2) During Standby, after an undetermined time, the box lost his wired connexion.
        3) In parameters, when I click on "More Info.", nothing happen but it go back to the home.

        Thanks for your help.

This is because we're still running with the beta release of this OEM firmware. I stumbled upon what I think might be the final release, but that has other issues with the status bar and settings that I still need to fix.

        hello
impossible to acces in recovery for instal OTA update
        that is a solution ?
        thank

No, it isn't. I had to build a new TWRP recovery with the Nougat kernel.

Thanks for advice. Can you provide .img for twrp and also thus it compatible to all s912? Want to try your rom with my yoka 3gb ram.

Check the TWRP for Amlogic thread. The project and build instructions are posted there.

i finally managed to flash your nexus tvstock custom rom, using usb burning tool...
but, can't pass start setup wizard, because wifi is very unstable.. can't pass login to google

someone from beelink support forum say that it's good idea to try other opengapps (newer)... i get latest one 32bit arm tvstock for android 7.1
but can't flash it because (see photo)
btw, what about unstable wifi, is there any solution.... my s/n is g912, original stock rom is 313M0... now this one from magendanz???
please!! android tvbox is useless without (stable) wifi

Yes, the underlying TX8 Max beta firmware seems to have some crappy (or poorly configured) WiFi drivers. My workaround was to use Ethernet. Updating to the latest OpenGApps won't help, as there are still some pretty severe bugs with that package and I only use it as a starting point. (Several apps need to be re-singed with the platform key, some are simply the wrong version, and some necessary apps and files are just missing.)

If Ethernet isn't an option, you can always roll back to the previous version (which was based on the M8S Pro firmware): http://freaktab.org/4dea533ebd51d00f

do you plane some improvements for gt1 soon... (maybe put better wifi drivers in actuall version, something like that?) whatever....
it's not about "i ask you to do that because i want".. i just lookin' for best nougat solution.... if nougat android roms is still "not good" for gt1... how about back to mm... what is best custom rom for gt1, your or from other developer... for now?

Well, we need to make a decision at this point on whether to abandon the all-in-one ROM from Shiningworth. My preference would be to keep it because it greatly simplifies custom ROM development and allows one ROM to run on so many permutations of devices. However, the Tanix TX8 Max OEM firmware is still in beta and what I think is the final version still has some fixes needed in SystemUI.apk and TvSettings.apk. (I haven't even confirmed yet that it fixes the WiFi issue, but it does fix Bluetooth audio.)

The alternative is to revert to the Beelink GT1_704N0 firmware (which has known problems and tillaz87 is already on this path) or a combination of the GT1 and M8S Pro like I did previously. The latter approach will require an updater for AP6225 wireless chipsets and will still have an issue with mouse mode on the IR remote, but I'm impressed with the VideoStrong V0619 release for the M8S Pro right now. I'd say it's really the best-of-class ATV ROM out there.

Anyone want to weigh in with a preference?

VideoStrong V0619, you made some improvements, i see.. one question is about compatibility with gt1. Can we use this rom @ gt1 or not yet?

looks like best safe solution is 704N0 rom/firmware +tillaz87 patches (last one is v5??) ??

There's no way for you to use the ROMs I've built for the M8S Pro, but I could adapt them to run on the GT1. Last time I tried this, there were some problems with the GT1_703N0 kernel that were preventing video playback. I'll need to look into whether this is still an issue with GT1_704_N0.

I'm not sure here, I was on 704N course posts said 703N was better, I installed 703N, but can't see network drive in Kodi wich was okay in 704N, will reinstall 704N and see if this works better.
Still having 3D problems with games (not much of a problem I'm not much of a gamer, more for the kids)
                  Regards.
