Still having 3D problems with games (not much of a problem I'm not much of a gamer, more for the kids)
    Regards.
I've never really noticed any differance between them to be honest just what a few had said.

3D games have always worked great for me, been really surprised what it could run at reasonable fps. Bully been the most surprising. Ps1 emulation as well

but someone else did say they were having issues with games, maybe it's downloading wrong data cache?

      Hi ,
If I understand well, this ROM is based on 702N Stock firmware. right ?
703N stock firmware appears to be most stable to use . There is any update planned?
      Thanks

Older releases were based on the GT1_702N (because there was a video playback issue with GT1_703N), but this release is based on the Shiningworth All-in-One ROM (Precious). This ROM was released as a Beta for the Tanix TX8 Max, but it runs on a ton of different configurations.

      Hi Magendanz,

I had been used in MIni M8S pro 2/32, in the ultimate GT1 and in Alfawise pro + 3/64 and there have been no problems that I detected . In all functions, stable and fluid.
There is only one interference with the remote controll tv Lg in the box, but it is the same in all three. I use gamepad controll - Moucoute 053 in the box's and it has no problems and the same in Flymoute Af106 air mouse.
In Rom GT1 Android Nexus tv does not happen (I tested in the Mini M8S 2/32 pro and GT1 Stock 2/16).

      Regards

      Andrew

Guest any idea if this will work on the Tanix TX9 Pro 3/32?

I spent quite a lot of time installing this new ROM. Much nicer interface than the Bee-ling GT1 ROM However I hit a problem that I could not solve that led me to return to the former ROM : how to use an USB external disk drive in Kodi. With the Bee-Link ROM the disk appears as a source of media without anything to do. I tried several options with the new ROM, but could not make it work. Note : this is an NTFS drive, but I have the same issue with a FAT32 USB Stick. The drive is OK, as it works now that I went back to the older drive. Also, I tried with both the Stock and the TVStock ROMs.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I do not understand what means and how to "set persist.fw.force_adoptable=true in the build.prop."

                Could you explain ? Thanks

                  Complement to #233

After some search on the Internet, it seems that adoptable storage is not what I want fr my HDD. This is the standard HDD that I insert and remove in order to add files from my PC. Do I understand right that it means that my HDD should be seen as a portable storage device. And I would like this portable device to be seen by Kodi as in the original GT1 ROM.

Guest have you taken a look at the firmware for the Tanix TX92 as a possible base? It is also running the q201. I don't know if any of the previous issues from the TX8 beta firmware are present but it's a new box that launched with Android 7.1.2 and is on sale now so it's firmware is at least out of beta. Hopefully that means some of the bugs are fixed.

Do you have a link to the .img file for the TX92?

I got a TX9 Pro which is even newer than the TX92 I think. It doesn't even show on the Tanix download section yet. Guest if you're interested I can try and extract the .img

The Bee-Link GT1 ROM apparently includes native NTFS support, i.e. I have no issue in connecting an external NTFS drive to Kodi. Does the new ROM includes similar support ?
                      Thanks

SOLVED : after taking lot of time, not being a geek, to understand what could be done, it runed out that the solution is very simple. So I would like to share what may be obvious to some, but was not obvious to me.

                      1. Install BUILDPROP EDITOR from Google Play Store
2 Edit line #persist.fw.force_adoptable=true, removing the "#" caracter
                      3 Save and reboot

It works like magic, external disk seen by Kodi and NTFS is indeed supported.

                      Thanks for the help.

In my opinion, the best Android TV box right now is the M8S Pro L. It's basically the same hardware as the GT1 Ultimate but with Widevine L1, so you get DRM HD content with Netflix and YouTube TV.
