Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. Try restarting it, that usually fixes it for me. Also I change it to F from C and when you restart the device it always goes back to C (Celsius). This happens on every version I tested.

The biggest complaint I saw was the video freezing issue. I had this happen to me also. Today's update seems that it might have resolved it from the test I'm currently running. Right now I'm 1 1/4 hours into a movie and it hasn't frozen, where yesterday my video froze in like 10 - 15 minutes.

I do still have the crashing problem on the video I've been trying with all versions. The new version shows the first screen of the movie and then crashes now. Before it would just crash and not show the first screen.

It seems to be an improvement and hopefully they will quickly resolve the major issues.

Edit: finished 2 1/4 hour movie with no issues. Put on a movie now that is almost 2 3/4 hours. So far 55 minutes in and no issues.

My main issue is still certain videos crash Kodi completely. I also got that rainbow look that people were complaining about before. Yesterday was the first time I noticed it.

I noticed certain videos crash Kodi. I was trying to watch a video with AC3 codec and it crashes Kodi every time (HD as well as SD). Not sure if it's specifically related to that codec but it was the same crash every time with that video. Most other videos no issues. I replicated this issue with the 12/20/17 Android only version and the newest beta (both on the Android side).

I'm using the latest beta version and the crashing continues.

Got this box and came with single os which kept freezing only solution was to unplug and restart , updated with TX3 mini ota 20171220 and no freezing to date , replaced the launcher with Alice Ui , Bluetooth not working buy i can live with that .

Sí. Aunque se siente algo lento y con muchos frame drops al momento de reproducir videos.

TX3 mini has no bluetooth hardware so how should a firmware implant it ?

Can this ROM be flashed on X96 Mini? Other ROMs of Tanix TX3 are reported to be working on it.

Using latest beta still having problem with video freezing randomly

I have problem with tx3 max freezing randomly on all firmwares that i tried (tx3 mini firmware, december, two january firmwares including beta), freeze occurs randomly when box is under load, i tried several ac adaptors, its same. On librelec freezes dont happen on TX3Max-20171228 firm but on android yes. Im not thinking on freezes on video but random on installations, surfing, youtube, kodi and normal working on box. Tried flashing with usb burn tool, sd card flashes, all passes normally, and box works normally till it freezes when under load.
Please help and advise what to do.
Tx3 Max i bought on Gearbest, and have sent ticket but no response from them for now.

I would check the temps it's reaching under load , I bought a usb laptop cooling pad from the pound store and with venting the underside of the box my temps are 38 and max 48 using it , no freezing anymore after changing back to tx3 mini firmware

Weather issue is related to internet connection. You also can try reconnecting your WiFi or LAN.

Temperature backs to "C" degrees. It has been fixed. Coming with the next ALICE UX update.
