Does the Recovery that you created come with the devices and all the binaries that it needs or do I need to download those separately?

I'm not sure what you're referring to regarding devices and binaries, but I think you'll be fine with the recovery.

What exactly are you trying to do?

Is your tablet currently working normally or are you trying to fix it? If you are trying to fix it, what is wrong with it?

Are you just trying to root?

yes just trying to root...but when I first started with this tablet...it said to download 3 file...stock, root, and binaries...but like I said it was for the older tablets.....so im sure once I put the ulimage file on sd card and put stock in folder on sd card then I will be ok incase I mess up I can boot back to stoc

If you only want to root a currently working tablet, all you need to do is put my uImage_recovery file on your external SD card and flash my kyser_root.zip package.

whenever you say flash...what exactly do you want me to do with the files?...run the..open them...and do I need a certain software to flash it?...just not quite sure what flash meant...sorry that im not currently up to par on these kinda things....but im trying to learn

If you only want to root a currently working tablet, all you need to do is put my uImage_recovery file on your o SD card and flash my kyser_root.zip package.

flash means to install it using recovery...

In this case, you put the uImage_recovery on your external SD card then turn your tablet on and hold the power button and the volume- button until recovery starts. Our tablets automatically look for uImage_recovery on the external SD Card and use it instead of the stock internal recovery. This allows us to bypass the stock recovery which uses private security keys that we don't know.

To "flash", you choose install zip from SD (or something similar) then choose the kyser_root.zip (or whatever you're trying to install).

Also, be aware that the some of the files in original post of this thread are outdated... the kyser_root.zip from this thread is fine, but instead of the modified stock recovery, you should probably use the CWM recovery from here: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.php?10341-CWM-Recovery-with-UBIFS-Support-For-Amlogic-Nextbook-Tablets-(Support-Thread)

Just make sure you get the CWM version that matches your board.

ahhhhhh...ok..that i understand...lol...just not familiar with the term flash..but now I am..thank you for clarifying that for me ok I did have the correct recovery....double checked with your link...now I have debugging on and sd mounted...is that correct....and is it volume up or volume down?

debugging wont matter...

Just follow my instructions...

turn the tablet off
remove external sd card
put external sd card in pc
copy uImage_recovery and kyser_root.zip to external sd card
remove external sd card from pc
insert external sd card in tablet
hold power and volume- on tablet until recovery starts
flash install the kyser_root.zip
reboot tablet
download your preference of superuser or supersu or something similar from play store

doesn't really matter because we didn't flash install a recovery.

well...I AM ROOTED...I can use my super user..which I know you have to be rooted to do that..not time to play around and see what else I can do
