If that does not work try chmod 777.

If you experience issues, Shaun has already stated that he will not be supporting it directly on the tablet. I'm not sure if he will be true to that statement, but have a nandroid backup just in case.

I've been around. Finally worked out the last bugs in my modified (stock based) ROM for the NXM8000ND_WM model. Going to try to package up the NXM8000NBD_WMN model today and maybe get them posted by tonight. No promises though... I've been ill the past few days so I may just crash when I get home.

Everytime I download this zip file I immediately get the complete action using box, which has package installer and scan for viruses before installing as the choices. Even w/o choosing either one and getting out of that screen, it unzips the file and you see the apk file. How do I stop this from happening? I believe that because it was opened, the signatues are broken and that is what is causing my installation to abort.....How do I fix this? I never have that box appear w/ reg ..zip files, only the ones that contain an apk file

Every time Iaunmt;118055]It is aborting during the signature verification, before the installation actually starts. Either the modified recovery isn't booting and the tablet is defaulting to the internal stock recovery, or the kyser_root.zip is corrupted.

Verify the uImage_recovery file is in the root level of the external SD card.

Put the kyser_root.zip in the root level of the external SD card also. Do NOT open the kyser_root.zip after you download, just opening can break the android signature.

i down loaded it using the tablet and then used a file manger to put were they need to b i use toatle comander works for me

In think you are correct, although I'm not sure what's causing it or how to avoid it...

Are you downloading it from the tablet? You might have better luck downloading it with a computer, copying it to the sd card with an sd card reader, then putting the sd card back in the tablet...

Shaun, yes I am.An you are probably right. But unfortunately I don't have a working computer at the moment. The thought occurred to me that possibly I could get someone to email to me @ [email protected] that would also fix my problem

Stock rom for _WMN

Shaun do you have a stock for the wmn i need to use christian troys method to unbrick one of mine it wasn't even rooted so im unsure as to wth happened with it.

and to whom it may concern i still have had zero issues with the cydia impactor method of rooting on 2 seperate tablets for anyone considering it. although be weary your stock one may brick on its own
