Amlogic Next7P12-8G Modified Recovery - Stock Rom & Flashable Root

I have used these test keys. The recovery kicks back my update with an E-Signature Verification Fail. I am currently re-downloading the entire Android SDK to make sure everything is working right. Should I start a separate thread in order to not tie up this one?

You're either using the wrong keys, or there is something wrong with your signer or your package.

I'd start a new thread. Maybe someone can provide step by step instructions or point you towards a good guide to get everything setup correctly.

since using the ulmage/kyser method to get root I've developed some issues

Headphone jack was stripping main channel leaving only a "karaoke" version removed stock MusicFX and jack is dead (haven't reinstalled so possibly a non-issue)

Bigger issue is every uninstall ejects the onboard sd card requiring reboot after each uninstall.

Also random reboots are more often

Well, the recovery itself doesn't change anything. Only the packages you flash install with the recovery make changes. The kyser_root.zip doesn't do anything but apply a new copy of the su binary to /system/xbin and set permissions for su to allow root access.

So, If I can assume that you haven't flash installed anything else, and you haven't been using your root access to mess around with the /system files, then I'd have to guess your issues are either related to something in your cache or /data partition or hardware related, in which case, I would suggest wiping data and cache.

If you have flash installed anything else or been messing around with your /system files, then I would suggest wiping everything and installing a fresh ROM, however I would wait until I get updated ROMs released for your device first, as the ROM currently available only supports 1 of the 2 different WIFI chips used in that model.

I learned the hard way 15 years ago not to do anything until you read everything. Once you find yourself going page to page reading the same thing.. you're ready to go.. so all I've knowingly done is remove preinstalled garbage. Even when I know what I'm doing I'm hesitant to hit anything system related... at least on a machine I need anyway

Anytime i try to go into recovery it wont recognize my tablet and when it trys to update the m3 chip it comes back with no drivers found, can somebody tell me how i can correct this pls and ty

thank you very much for your effort. i tried this stock rom and the tablet was rooted successfuly but since then the tablet is not stable at all. it contiounusly give error messages like this "unfortunatly process XXXXXXX has stopped working" this happens for almost all the working processes.
my tablet was manfactured August 2013.

Do you have any suggestions.

I think this is the first anyone has reported that issue...

I would suggest wiping data and cache. If the issue continues, you might try wiping everything and flashing the ROM again.

No... I'm about to start working on modified ROMs for this model, but I don't think I have a newer stock build date.

The only problem some have reported with that ROM was WiFi not working because some the earlier builds had a different WiFi chip.
