I know a lot of users are mad because of the misleading ads about Netflix, HBO, etc....for me that?s a scam but knowing about the other Mecool devices, i would never recommend a Mecool device for services like Amazon, HBO, and Netflix. Xiaomi Mi Box is the one you need if you want to use those apps and not spend more than 100$ on a Nvidia Shield

But for my type of ussage (YouTube, Popcorntime, Cyberflix, MorphTV, Arena4Viewer, Kodi with Quasar, Elementum, Gaia, Maverick, Avezy, etc... Mecool KM9 is much better value for the money than Xiaomi?s Mi Box S or Mi Box 3 4K and I will explain

My KM9 is in transit, I hadn't seen all these problems with Netflix....
Can you tell me if the Netflix problem only affects the 4K, or all the apk?
I will think about how to get a refund even if it has been shipped

Always have said if you want paid streaming service get a Mi Box, Shield, Amazon TV what is cheap and can do they Job
Other Boxes have some fun nothing worse than a locked box, soon as you want to do something else, it all fails in a heap

NETFLIX requires a real certificate (which KM9 doesn't have)
The supported devices are listed in their site: https://devices.netflix.com/en/

The only thing we can do now is wait for HACKER here...hope they could make a CRACK for this.
KM9 or these other Android Boxes being discussed here ... most of them are not authorized.
They are all opycats developed by small and unknown brands.

Don't buy these cheapy box next time if you really need NETFLIX or other paid service.
You can go for FIRETV STICK 4K (2018) or MIBOX S.
They're doing promotion right now in Amazon and Walmart respectively at thirty something USD.

If you mean crap because netflix, hbo and Amazon are not working, i suggest you to use Xiaomi Mi Box, Nvidia Shield, etc ---> All officially certified products.

Apart from that, this devices runs really fast and smooth with Kodi, Cyberflix, MorphTV, Popcorntime, YouTube, Arena4Viewer, etc

You must not have an AVR system, and use the very basic apps.... It is definitely not a media center device.

I guess, I can take up knitting... maybe I am expecting too much from these boxes, especially from Mecool. Mecool has been trailblazing with new features, but now they are going backwards, I expected way more from them.

BTW, I can't even get the voice remote to work with the "assistant", yes, it is paired with the Bluetooth. I even did a factory reset. The assistant can hear the app on my phone, but not from my remote..........

Also, the site you post is really incomplete: Only says Chromecast and Apple TV as certificied devices (doesn?t say anything about Xiaomi or Nvidia Shield)

They only removed Netflix there but still HBO appearing....and HBO is not working. As I said, the promotion of the article is a scam.

I use this device because for my type of usage is perfect but i totally understand someone who saw the product page and bought this thinking about using it with HBO and Netflix.

We, as costumers, should complain
