Unfortunately changing cables didn't make a difference.

After testing various 60fps videos (local, streaming using different apps and ranging from 720/60 to 4k/60) my stutter issue seems to be most common on 1080p/60 or under videos, but not all... seems to depend on the codec.

-mobile youtube - every 60fps video stutters, but the frequency is completely random. Makes a bit of sense since the mobile youtube app is limited to 1080/60, but the android TV version is not.
-1 out of 2 1080/60 local videos played using VLC had some stutter after 2-3 minutes of playback.
-I have yet to see any stuttering on a 4k/60 video, whether it be streaming in the android TV youtube app, or playing locally with VLC

Due to the randomness and somewhat in-frequency of this issue, it's really hard to test. Definitely seems like a software or driver issue that can be fixed though... at least that's what I'm hoping. It might just be placebo, but it seems like the X96 port (which is the most recent firmware released for our box) seems to have slightly less issues (which is what I'm currently using).

Either way, it's not a big deal... just a bit annoying.

        What language you understand?

Your box blocks are read only.
Download recovery.img from below. Put it in your sdcard. Power off and remove everything from box, unplug it. take a pin and find reset button in AV hole. Video given below to locate reset button. Put sdcard with recovery.img in box. Press and hold the reset button and apply power simultaneously. In 5 seconds you will boot into twrp recovery. In recovery, first screen you see, will tell you that your system is read only. There will be a swipe sideways thing, that will allow modification to system. Swipe it. And then do your burn card maker process again.

Although flashing is better with usb cable. Also make sure your sdcard is write enabled.

KM9 is the only S905X2 box that usually flashes the first try, the H96 and T95Q takes a minimum of three tries to get going, maybe my imagination but the chances of a good flash are better if you keep the reset button pressed for a few seconds after the flash process starts.

Posted a reply but I edited too many times that I think it was removed for spam.

Anyway, changing the cable didn't solve my problem.

I tested several different 60fps videos and video playing apps and only the mobile youtube app stutters for me. Even if I download the youtube video and play it back in vlc it doesn't stutter.

So superceleron released a generic S905X2 rom and wifi or ethernet didn't work on my box. Anyone else? Also does anyone know what bluetooth chip our box uses?

Xannytech also released v2 of his non-AndroidTV rom. Does anyone have an account at 4pda that can kindly request H96 Max X2 ports of these 2 roms? I tried making an account but I can't figure out the russian characters in the registration.

Give link. I will get it to 4pda and sergej might port it.

I thought Xannytech released v2 of his rom already but he just posted a preview so far. But it can be found here when he posts it: https://forum.freaktab.com/forum/tv-...-fixes-and-mod

As for superceleron's rom, there are 4 variants/downloads to support multiple boxes (2 of them just have different boot animations/videos). One of these two would probably be best:

Same rom just different drivers, so I think either will work since we need new drivers to support our box anyway.

                            Much appreciated.

Give me links only for BCM versions. RTL wont work for us. Our chip is BCM.

Ah, good to know... wasn't sure.

If you followed the thread of the rom, I posted my findings: https://forum.freaktab.com/forum/tv-...oid-8-1-s905x2

Wifi, lan, BT drivers are needed. Also the front LED colors are inverted (blue=off, red=on). Didn't test anything else because there's no internet. Didn't test the remote either since I don't use it.
