the flashtool shows the right: found rockchip loader.
but when i click erase idb, it starts and quits with error
when i click on flash the rileyrom it starts and quits with error.
after it stops booting while showing the pipo logo
if so, then i can reflash the original rom via rkbatchtoolLast edited by herrjemineh; 07 November 2013, 02:04.

Re: Pipo M9 Pro RileyROM 2.0
Are you using the USB cable that came with the tablet? It sounds like your USB connection isn't optimum. Try a different USB 2.0 port.

Manual Flash Mode:
Power off tablet. From the tablet being powered off plug-in to PC and start flash tool on PC. Then hold both buttons down at the same time until you see device found on flash tool and release both buttons. Pipo M9 Pro should be in flash mode with blank black screen. Tool should now work. This should work if drivers are installed correctly.

Done... good one, thanks a lot.. that worked instantly. Different question, is it normal that the device is making ticking sounds threetines while booting? Sounds like a harddisk with headcrash. But it is working fine

Re: Pipo M9 Pro RileyROM 2.0
I have noticed that on most pipo tablets when transitioning from kernel to boot.img to system.img during the boot sequence.
I think it has to do with loading sound drivers. Some tablets are louder than others. I notice it most on my M6 Pro.

Testing 2.0 concluded - 'auto restart' remains ...
Hi everyone,
I have just concluded testing Randy's 2.0 after all these days and have to admit that nearly everything works just fine
The only issue that I have left is the 'irritating' auto-start from a sleep state. The tablet resets without a warning in different intervals a few times per day if I leave it in a sleep state.
I wonder how many other M9Pro owners experience the same issue as I have in mind to report it to Pipo.

No, you shouldn't have go in any particular order.
I'm not sure why it isn't booting...other users are reporting good results.Randy
