    Here you are!

The one beginning with 800 is that you requested. The one beginning with 825 has only the lowest voltage changed to 825. Good luck with them.

The kernels are for M6pro RileyROM 1.6 or 1.61

I tried both - no booting problems. 825 seems to be "smoother" for me. Thank you karmantyu.

Hi, I tried to flash kernel 825_cpu1704h_gpu600_ddr720 but now it doesn't reboot. It can't be detected in Rom Flash Tool. what should I do?

When I try to connect the Device it says it doesn't recognize it. Tried to do reset via Pin hole but still no luck.

        Anymore ideas?

        Thanks!

        -----------

        Problem solved. Thanks!

Sent from my m6pro running Riley ROM 1.7 KitKat
My supplier (ebuyer) has agreed my voyager 297 is faulty and are accepting it as a warranty return, but they're out of stock... Doh!

I did try stock sumvision firmware as suggested but again it failed at 21% on antutu.
Now boxed up ready for return which was free courier pickup cannot fault Ebuyer.com service.

          Will search for a replacement

Hi can someone make overclock kernels for s1pro? I got confused and don't want to risk making something for this model. Tried the overclockomatic_low_voltage_rev1.1(+25mV) script on my m7pro kernels and it was successful and worked fine on my tablet, but when I tried running the script for s1pro kernel it sees 3 entries in table 8 which is for ddr frequencies unlike m6pro and m7pro which only have 2 entries. Also the s1pro ddr table have lower frequencies compared to other models.

            Mhz mV
            300 1000 2 DDR_FREQ_VIDEO
            396 1100 1 DDR_FREQ_NORMAL
            460 1150 3 DDR_FREQ_IDLE
Attached is the kernel from RR1.1 for S1Pro

              kernel behaviour: JB vs KK

Waiting for the next kitkat ROM release ... I have noted this particular behaviour:
with JB the lowest voltage kernel is working correctly on my tablet, BUT for kitkat I needed to raise a little bit the voltages to reach the perfect stability.

Now I'm using these parameters for the CPU:

              [800000, 312000],
              [825000, 504000],
              [900000, 816000],
              [975000, 1008000],
              [1075000, 1200000],
              [1150000, 1416000],
              [1275000, 1704000],

for every frequency (except 1.7Ghz) it is set to -100mV wrt the stock.

I think it is due to the different behaviour of kitkat:
In brief, kitkat usually raise the frequency from low to high freq and vice versa (in a different manner wrt JB that is more "gradual").
This will rapidly change also the relevant voltages and I think that could be a problem about the "Slew rate" of the voltage regulators.
For that reason I tried to give a little bit more power to the higher frequencies.

It seems to completely fix the problem

You can find many of my kernels available in this threat. All named "kitkat" are compatible with your ROM.
You can find them on some previous pages.

What you are describing appears to be different CPU Govenor policies. Worth checking.

Probably this could be the answer, even if they call the CPU governor with the same name ("interactive").
It could be useful to check if something is changed inside the governor details...

                        Kernels for Pipo M6PRO riley_ROM 1.8

These are the usual kernels suitable for M6pro RileyRom 1.8 kitkat!

The only one that has been changed is the "very_low" (that now is "very_low_V2"): I increased a little bit some voltages to make it stable for me and the other lucky tablets. Now compared to the stock voltage is EXACTLY -100mV less for every frequency (except 1.7Ghz that is 1.275mV).

Thanks to karmantyu I've introduced also the "825_users" new kernel!

                          new kernel for 1.8

                          Hello,

I flashed with the lowest voltage, and it worked great!! The benchmark I received on Antutu was 20284!!!

                          Thank you,

                          Brian

                            which kernal

I'm thinking of putting the kit kat 1.8 final on my unstable stock 4.2.2 M6 pro wfi, but after reading the threads I think I also need to update the kernel too. However, how do I tell quick one I need?

You don't really "need" to update the kernel but it can give you a bit more performance as well as save some battery due to the reduced voltage. Individual CPUs don't all have identical performance / stabillity which is why Giouncino gives us a few to try for each rom version. I haven't tried them all but usually use the one labelled "claro" which gives an extra 1000 points on Antutu or +5% with respect to stock.

                                Buongiorno,

at first, sorry for my bad english.

I tried to install the very low Kernel in the recovery mode....
TWRP said "failed" and now I cant boot the system. RR 1.8 don't start, it reboot only in the recovery mode

                                what can I do now?

                                Roland

EDIT: I solved the Problem and flashed the Rom again, thanks for reading
